O GTR7 é o mais recente mini PC da Beelink projetado com CPUs da série H para usuários de alto desempenho. Ele é um dos primeiros em sua categoria a ser fornecido com o Zen 4 Ryzen 7 7840HS, enquanto o SER6 do ano passado seria fornecido com o Zen 3+ Ryzen 9 6900HX.

Caso - Ganho de peso

As séries GTR e GTI da Beelink são minicomputadores de ponta em comparação com as séries SER e SEI, menores e mais baratas. Portanto, o GTR tem um design mais complexo, com materiais metálicos comparáveis aos encontrados em um Intel NUC. Todos os seis lados são de metal rígido, inclusive a malha superior, que era um tecido mais macio no antigo design do GTR6. Apreciamos especialmente a ausência de superfícies plásticas brilhantes, que tendem a atrair arranhões e impressões digitais com muita facilidade.

Há quatro opções de cores disponíveis: Verde, cinza, laranja e azul. Isso é notável porque essas opções são incomuns em mini PCs em que o preto é, de longe, a única cor.

O GTR7 mantém a pegada do antigo GTR6, mas com um perfil mais espesso e mais pesado, provavelmente devido aos componentes internos revisados e à adição de um resfriador com câmara de vapor. Agora, ele é um dos mini PCs maiores e mais pesados do mercado, sem contar aqueles com GPUs discretas.

Conectividade - muitas opções para escolher

Embora as portas na parte frontal não tenham mudado em relação ao SER6 do ano passado, as portas na parte traseira agora são diferentes. A porta do adaptador CA foi redesenhada para ser magnética, enquanto duas das quatro portas HDMI foram abandonadas em favor da DisplayPort de tamanho normal.

As duas portas USB-C traseiras suportam USB4 e eGPUs, de acordo com o fabricante, semelhante ao GTR6 do ano passado. No entanto, observe que a porta USB-C frontal não tem suporte para DisplayPort e, portanto, os monitores externos são compatíveis apenas com as portas USB-C traseiras.

Teríamos preferido um adaptador CA USB-C universal, semelhante à maioria dos Ultrabooks atuais, em vez de um adaptador magnético proprietário. A tentativa de alimentar a unidade com nosso adaptador CA USB-C de 130 W da Dell resultaria em um desligamento automático alguns segundos depois.

Este também é um dos poucos minicomputadores de consumo com duas portas RJ-45 de 2,5 Gbps e duas portas de fone de ouvido de 3,5 mm. A maioria dos usuários provavelmente não precisará de tantos de cada, mas a opção está lá, no entanto.

Comunicação - Sem W-Fi 6E

O sistema vem com um módulo Intel AX200 mais antigo em vez da série AX210/211 mais recente. Manutenção

Duas camadas devem ser removidas antes de se ter acesso à placa-mãe: a placa metálica externa e o suporte interno da ventoinha, conforme mostrado nas imagens abaixo. Felizmente, ambas as peças são fáceis de remover com apenas uma chave de fenda Phillips. Os usuários podem instalar até dois módulos SODIMM, dois SSDs M.2 2280 PCIe4 x4 NVMe e um único módulo WLAN.

Infelizmente, o outro lado da placa-mãe, com a CPU e a câmara de vapor, não foi projetado para ser facilmente acessível. Portanto, a limpeza é difícil, pois há uma ventoinha maior entre a câmara de vapor e a tampa de malha superior que não pode ser facilmente alcançada.

Acessórios e garantia

A caixa de varejo inclui um suporte VESA para montagem na parede, manual, cabo HDMI e adaptador de energia CA, dependendo da região. A tampa superior não é removível, como nos modelos mais antigos da Beelink.

Uma garantia limitada padrão de um ano do fabricante se aplica se for comprada nos EUA.

Condições de teste

Configuramos nossa unidade para o modo Desempenho por meio do Windows antes de executar os benchmarks abaixo. Não há aplicativos especializados do "Command Center" ou outros bloatwares pré-instalados incluídos no mini PC. As configurações do AMD Precision Boost Overdrive estão disponíveis no BIOS, mas estão definidas como Auto por padrão.

A tentativa de instalar os drivers da AMD por meio do instalador automático oficial da AMD resultaria em mensagens de erro todas as vezes.

Processador

Temos grandes esperanças para o Zen 4 Ryzen 7 7840HS depois da decepção do Zen 3Ryzen 7 7735HS no mês passado. Felizmente, o processador apresenta excelentes resultados, comparáveis aos do Core i7-12700H e ao Core i7-13700H. Ele não é nem de longe tão rápido quanto o exigente Ryzen 9 7945HX ou o Core i9-13900HXmas ainda é consideravelmente mais rápido do que a maioria dos outros mini PCs, incluindo o mais novo Intel NUC 13 Pro.

A estabilidade do desempenho também é excelente, sem quedas, mesmo quando submetido a longos períodos de estresse. Atualizando a partir do Zen 3+ com apenas um ano de idade Ryzen 9 6900HX pode aumentar o desempenho multi-thread em cerca de 35%.

Desempenho do sistema

As pontuações do PCMark são algumas das mais altas para qualquer minicomputador não equipado com gráficos discretos. O GTR7 mantém suas maiores vantagens sobre o NUC 13 Pro nos subtestes de Produtividade e Criação de Conteúdo Digital, nos quais os desempenhos do processador e dos gráficos são mais importantes.

Vale a pena observar que os resultados da memória AIDA64 são bastante altos, mesmo quando comparados a laptops para jogos como o MSI Stealth GS66. Isso pode ser atribuído à RAM DDR5-5600 muito rápida, enquanto a RAM na maioria dos outros mini PCs e laptops tende a ser de 5200 MHz ou mais lenta. Nosso Intel NUC 13 Pro, por exemplo, foi fornecido com uma memória DDR4-3200 muito mais lenta. As GPUs integradas, em particular, são conhecidas por se beneficiarem significativamente de uma RAM de sistema mais rápida, pois não têm um pool de VRAM dedicada.

Latência DPC

Nossa unidade apresentava problemas de latência de DPC e 58 quedas de quadros durante nosso vídeo de teste de 4K60 de um minuto, mesmo depois de vários retestes. Esse último, em particular, é um problema notável, pois significa que as transmissões de vídeo em 4K da Netflix, Hulu e outros podem ter saltos desnecessários de quadros ou gagueira, enquanto a maioria dos outros mini PCs ou laptops as transmitiria sem problemas. Um problema semelhante foi observado em alguns notebooks Zen 2 mais antigos antes de ser rapidamente corrigido e, portanto, esperamos que uma correção seja feita o quanto antes.

A versão integrada do ano passado da Radeon 680M integrada do ano passado já estava muito além da concorrente Série Iris Xe e a Radeon 780M adiciona mais sal à ferida para a Intel. Ruído do sistema - ventiladores menos irritantes

A solução de resfriamento consiste em duas ventoinhas assimétricas e um resfriador de câmara de vapor. Não é incomum ver duas ventoinhas em um mini PC, como noMinisforum Mercury Series EM680mas uma câmara de vapor é normalmente reservada para GPUs de desktop de ponta e laptops para jogos.

O ruído do ventilador mudou para melhor em comparação com o GTR6 do ano passado. Mais especificamente, nossas reclamações sobre a pulsação frequente foram resolvidas para níveis mais estáveis de ruído do ventilador em geral. Por exemplo, o ruído do ventilador no GTR6 pulsava de silencioso a até 36 dB(A) durante cargas baixas, como navegação ou streaming de vídeo, enquanto o GTR7 era muito mais silencioso, na faixa de 28 a 32 dB(A).

A execução de cargas mais altas, como jogos, pode induzir a um nível de ruído do ventilador entre 36 e 43 dB(A), que está na mesma faixa do Intel NUC 13 Pro mas ainda muito mais alto do que o Minisforum Mercury Series EM680. A faixa baixa de 40 dB(A) também é típica de muitos laptops da série Core U quando executam cargas semelhantes.

O ar frio entra pela parte superior e o calor residual sai pela parte traseira, conforme mostrado nos mapas de temperatura abaixo. Portanto, não é recomendável colocar nenhum item na parte superior para preservar o fluxo de ar ideal. Entretanto, colocar a unidade na vertical parece ser seguro.

Lembre-se de que o calor da exaustão da parte traseira pode ser muito quente, chegando a 50 °C, o que é mais quente do que em muitos outros mini PCs, inclusive os do mesmo fabricante. Certifique-se de deixar um espaço amplo entre a parte traseira da unidade e a parede por motivos de segurança.

Teste de estresse

Quando estressada com o Prime95, a CPU aumentaria para 2,8 GHz e 35 W e, em seguida, aumentaria constantemente até se aproximar de 3,6 GHz, 60 W e 76 C. O aumento relativamente lento significa que pode ser mais difícil explorar os limites máximos da alta taxa de clock do processador em rajadas curtas, como ao editar imagens ou iniciar aplicativos. Repetindo o teste Prime95 no GTR6 do ano passado resultaria em taxas de clock estáveis mais baixas e uma temperatura central mais fria em cerca de 10 graus.

A execução do teste Witcher 3 para representar cargas típicas de jogos mostraria resultados semelhantes: taxas de clock da GPU mais altas do que no GTR6 (2700 MHz vs. 1977 MHz), mas com temperaturas de núcleo mais quentes também (68 C vs. 56 C).

Gerenciamento de energia - Com grande poder, vêm grandes demandas

Consumo de energia

O Ryzen 7 7840HS é definitivamente rápido, mas a demanda de energia também é maior. Quando comparado ao SER6 com Ryzen 7 7735H, nosso GTR7 exigiria até 30% mais energia ao executar jogos e quase 50% mais energia ao executar o estresse do Prime95. Essas diferenças são suficientes para fazer com que o Beelink seja um dos minicomputadores disponíveis que mais consomem energia, sem contar aqueles com GPUs discretas.

É interessante notar que o consumo aumentava lentamente ao iniciar o estresse do Prime95, como mostram os gráficos abaixo, enquanto o oposto é verdadeiro na maioria dos outros notebooks e minicomputadores. Esse comportamento se alinha com as observações do teste de estresse acima, em que as taxas de clock e o consumo de energia da placa também aumentam constantemente antes de se estabilizarem em taxas estáveis.

Conseguimos medir um consumo máximo de 112 W do pequeno adaptador CA de 100 W (~6,9 x 6,9 x 3 cm) ao executar o Prime95 e o FurMark simultaneamente. O sistema provavelmente poderia ter se beneficiado de um adaptador CA de maior capacidade.

O Beelink GTR7 aprimora os pontos fortes do GTR6. A CPU e a iGPU, que já eram algumas das mais rápidas em 2022, agora estão ainda mais rápidas na atualização deste ano. O GTR7 é um dos poucos minicomputadores com gráficos integrados que pode realmente executar os jogos mais recentes para ser uma potência de um HTPC.

As melhorias não são gratuitas, por assim dizer. Os aumentos significativos de desempenho exigem mais energia da tomada do que muitos outros minicomputadores, o que, por sua vez, gera mais calor, temperaturas mais altas no núcleo, um novo resfriador de câmara de vapor e, por fim, um design de chassi maior e mais pesado. Não espere que o GTR7 seja tão pequeno quanto muitos NUCs da Intel.

O GTR7 não é apenas um rival do Intel NUC, mas também o supera em muitas frentes.

Definitivamente, alguns bugs devem ser corrigidos. A reprodução de vídeo 4K60 com gagueira, a falta de suporte para a ferramenta AMD Auto-Detect and Install e as falhas do Blender HIP prejudicam diretamente a versatilidade do GTR7. Notificamos o fabricante sobre nossas descobertas e atualizaremos a página caso haja alguma correção disponível.

Gostaríamos de ver algumas mudanças para justificar melhor o aumento de tamanho em relação ao ano anterior. Recursos extras, como trava Kensington, leitor SD, acesso mais fácil aos dois lados da placa-mãe e suporte padrão a Wi-Fi 6E, tornariam o já excelente GTR7 uma recomendação ainda mais fácil. A concorrente Minisforum Mercury Series EM680, por exemplo, integra resfriamento de metal líquido para uma dissipação de calor mais eficiente.
