Manutenção

A manutenção requer um pouco mais de trabalho do que a maioria dos outros mini PCs. O desempenho da CPU é excelente com resultados que são significativamente mais rápidos do que oGateway Ultra Slim 14.1 ou VAIO FE 14.1 cada um com o mesmo 12º gênero Núcleo i5-1235U CPU. A sustentabilidade do Turbo Boost certamente poderia ser melhor, no entanto, já que a pontuação do CineBench R15 xT diminuiria em cerca de 14% ao longo do tempo, como mostra o gráfico abaixo. Ruído do sistema

Como outros mini PCs da Beelink, o ruído do ventilador está sempre presente no SEi12 a quase 28 dB(A) contra um fundo silencioso de 23 dB(A). Felizmente, o sistema nunca se torna barulhento, mesmo quando são introduzidas cargas mais altas. A execução do Witcher 3 ou 3DMark 06 resultaria em níveis de ruído de ventiladores comparáveis aos do Intel NUC 11PAQ quando sujeitas a condições similares. O ruído do ventilador pode ocasionalmente atingir 39 dB(A), embora apenas por curtos períodos antes de cair de volta para a faixa baixa de 30 dB(A). Os mini PCs mais potentes como a série SER Beelink são ainda mais altos.

Temperatura

O ar frio entra pelos lados e pela malha superior enquanto o ar quente sai pela parte traseira, como mostram os mapas de temperatura abaixo. O ponto quente na parte traseira pode ser tão quente quanto 47 C quando em aplicações exigentes. A colocação de qualquer item no topo da unidade não é recomendada ou então o fluxo de ar será reduzido.

Quando estressada com Prime95, a CPU aumentará para 3,6 GHz com um consumo de energia do processador de 47 W. Quando a temperatura central atingir 76 C apenas alguns segundos depois, porém, as taxas do relógio e o consumo de energia cairão para 2,1 GHz e 27 W, respectivamente, a fim de manter uma temperatura central mais fria de 67 C.

Taxas de relógio da GPU e temperatura quando em funcionamento Witcher 3 estabilizariam em 1150 MHz e 68 C, respectivamente, em comparação com 1300 MHz e 57 C na mais cara Intel NUC11PAQi7.

O SEi12 oferece níveis de desempenho comparáveis e muitas vezes melhores a um NUC11 da Intel NUC11 acionado pelo Core U, enquanto que o varejo oferece muito menos. O NUC11PAH com CPU Core i5-1135G7, 16 GB de RAM e 256 GB de SSD, por exemplo, atualmente varejista por US$550, enquanto nosso SEi 12 com o dobro do armazenamento varejista por apenas US$400. O modelo não depende de soluções Celeron ou Atom terrivelmente lentas para alcançar preços atraentes e este continua sendo um ponto chave de venda para muitos mini PCs da Beelink.

A falta do suporte de Thunderbolt é decepcionante, mas isto provavelmente terá impacto apenas nos entusiastas que desejam conectar monitores de alta resolução daisy em cadeia ou eGPUs.
