Veredicto - Muito caro para o que está sendo oferecido

Muitas vezes, o veredicto sobre um produto depende muito de seu preço. Um bom exemplo disso é o Aspire 17 A17-51GM-70LZ da Acer, que atualmente custa cerca de US$ 1.150. O dispositivo de 17 polegadas poderia ser um bom laptop multimídia ou um multifuncional bem-sucedido - se o fabricante tivesse dado a ele uma tela adequada. Infelizmente, o painel full-HD instalado, que usa a tecnologia IPS, é decepcionante em quase todos os aspectos. Seu pequeno espaço de cores e a baixa fidelidade de cores, em particular, resultam em uma imagem pálida e irrealista. Ainda há espaço para melhorias em outras categorias também. Por exemplo, a qualidade do som do laptop e o controle da ventoinha deixam muito a desejar. O último é muito irregular no modo inativo e pode ficar muito alto sob carga em relação ao desempenho oferecido.

Isso nos leva ao principal problema do Aspire 17: sua GeForce RTX 2050 geralmente tem muita dificuldade em se diferenciar de iGPUs velozes como a Arc Graphics 140V/130V ou a Radeon 890M/880M atualmente. De qualquer forma, os usuários com ambições de jogos ficarão muito melhor com uma RTX 4050, que geralmente tem um desempenho em um nível de classe superior (para "não jogadores", por outro lado, as iGPUs são facilmente suficientes). As vantagens do Aspire 17 incluem o desenvolvimento de temperatura moderada e a porta Thunderbolt 4. Suas opções de atualização também não são ruins, graças a 2x SO-DIMM e 2x M.2. A duração da bateria ainda é sólida, embora fosse possível obter mais com uma bateria maior.

Caso

Em termos de qualidade, o gabinete do laptop é um pouco confuso. Enquanto a tampa é feita de metal, a unidade de base é de plástico. Essa última também não é muito estável em alguns pontos (por exemplo, na altura das grades de ventilação traseiras) e cede quando é aplicada mais pressão. Além disso, o gabinete tende a chacoalhar de vez em quando, o que também prejudica a impressão de qualidade total. As dobradiças do dispositivo são bem apertadas, portanto, o senhor precisará de duas mãos para abri-lo. O acabamento, por outro lado, não é motivo de críticas.

O laptop de 17 polegadas vem com uma seleção razoável de conexões. Enquanto o lado direito abriga um conector de áudio, uma porta USB A 3.0, uma porta RJ45 Gigabit LAN e uma abertura para travas Kensington, o lado esquerdo apresenta uma conexão de energia (muito fina), uma saída HDMI 2.1, uma porta USB A 3.0 e uma porta USB C 4, que também suporta DisplayPort 1.4 e Power Delivery, além do Thunderbolt 4. Acessórios

O laptop vem com alguns folhetos informativos e uma unidade de fonte de alimentação compacta de 90 watts (pouco menos de 440 gramas, incluindo o cabo).

Manutenção

Depois de remover 11 parafusos Phillips, a base do gabinete pode ser retirada de sua fixação e o senhor pode acessar o funcionamento interno do laptop. Teclado

Nós descreveríamos o teclado como utilizável, mas não o melhor. Seu feedback é relativamente suave e poderia ser mais firme e nítido. Também é um pouco confuso o motivo pelo qual o teclado numérico é um pouco apertado, apesar do amplo espaço disponível. A linha de funções e as setas direcionais do meio também poderiam ser maiores. Além disso, as letras das teclas não são totalmente legíveis de alguns ângulos. A boa visibilidade em ambientes escuros é garantida pela luz de fundo branca que apresenta dois níveis de intensidade. Excluindo o botão liga/desliga não separado, gostamos do layout em sua maior parte.

Touchpad

O touchpad tem um desempenho um pouco melhor do que o teclado. Sua superfície bastante lisa garante que os dedos deslizem bem sobre ele e suas dimensões de 12,6 x 7,8 cm são adequadas. Seus gestos multitoque funcionam sem problemas em longas distâncias. No entanto, gostaríamos de ter um mecanismo um pouco menos frágil para as áreas de clique. A Acer integrou um sensor de impressão digital no canto superior esquerdo como um recurso de segurança.

Tela

O maior ponto fraco do Aspire 17 é, de longe, sua tela inferior, que não deveria ter lugar nessa faixa de preço.

Sim, há alguns aspectos, como o valor de preto (0,3 cd/m²) e o contraste (917:1), que ainda são aceitáveis, mas o painel Full HD decepciona em quase todas as disciplinas restantes. Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

O desempenho da CPU e da GPU às vezes está mais na faixa de nível básico e, às vezes, mais na faixa intermediária. Condições de teste

É possível selecionar três perfis diferentes por meio do AcerSense, que, de acordo com nossos testes, não mostram desvios na taxa de quadros - pelo menos durante aplicativos 3D exigentes. O nível de ruído gerado, por outro lado, varia bastante. Embora o modo Padrão ainda seja razoavelmente tolerável sob carga, o dispositivo de 17 polegadas torna-se muito barulhento ao usar o modo Desempenho, razão pela qual "apenas" realizamos nossas medições no modo Padrão.

A GeForce RTX 2050 é uma das últimas GPUs da Nvidia abaixo da faixa média (superior). Desempenho em jogos

Em alguns casos, a situação parece muito melhor quando se trata de jogos. Alguns títulos, como GTA V e X-Plane 11, se beneficiam visivelmente da RTX 2050 do laptop, enquanto outros jogos, como Cyberpunk 2077, imitam a imagem dos testes sintéticos, ou seja, as iGPUs modernas às vezes têm desempenho semelhante.
