Estojo - GX650 com um robusto estojo metálico

A caixa de metal preto fosco oferece um bom acabamento. Não há lacunas aparentes e nenhuma aresta afiada perceptível. Outro ponto positivo é que a unidade base não pode ser deformada. Por outro lado, a tampa poderia usar um pouco mais de rigidez. As dobradiças são capazes de segurar a tampa firmemente na posição. O ângulo máximo de abertura é de cerca de 130 graus, e é possível abrir a tampa com uma mão

Uma vez aberta a tampa do visor, o Screenpad, um segundo visor com funcionalidade touchscreen, é levantado por um ângulo fixo de cerca de 15 graus em direção ao usuário. Além disso, ele é movido em cerca de 2 cm (~0,8 pol.) em direção à tela principal. A abertura resultante mostra uma placa de plástico transparente que oferece um vislumbre do interior da caixa em alguns lugares. Manutenção

Para tirar o fundo da caixa, primeiro é preciso remover os parafusos no fundo. Mas você precisa prestar atenção, já que um dos parafusos no meio da caixa é coberto por uma pequena placa de borracha. A parte de trás da caixa também é mantida no lugar por alguns grampos que podem ser soltos por alguns abanões cuidadosos ou com a ajuda de uma ferramenta de biselar plana. Após remover o fundo da caixa, você tem acesso aos bancos de memória de trabalho (ambos ocupados), aos dois SSDs (PCIe 4), aos ventiladores, e à bateria.

Dispositivos de entrada - Uma segunda tela para o laptop Asus

Teclado

O teclado só permite uma digitação confortável se você usar o apoio de mão incluído feito de borracha (profundidade: ~5,5 cm, 2,2 pol., angulado). Embora faça um trabalho bastante bom, ele realmente só funciona em uma superfície fixa. As teclas lisas do teclado chiclet iluminado têm um curso curto e um ponto de pressão claro. A resistência das teclas é boa, e o teclado não dobra enquanto digita. A iluminação RGB de três etapas é controlada através de uma tecla de função. Em geral, o Asus fornece aqui um teclado que é adequado para as tarefas diárias.

Touchpad

Um Clickpad multitouch-capable (~5,8 x 9,6 cm, ~2,3 x 3,8 pol.) em orientação retrato serve como substituto do mouse. Sua superfície lisa facilita o deslizamento dos dedos. O tapete tem um curso curto e um ponto de pressão claro. Bater no símbolo correspondente na almofada mostrará um teclado numérico.

Bloco de tela Asus Plus

Há uma opção adicional de entrada na forma do Screenpad Plus (14 pol., 3840 x 1100 pixels, mate), que é uma segunda tela que inclui a funcionalidade de tela tátil (suporte para canetas de entrada ativas). Ele se comporta como qualquer outra tela externa plugada e pode ser ligado e desligado através de uma tecla separada.

O Screenpad dá a opção de mover aplicações ou seus elementos de navegação para a tela sensível ao toque. Este último depende se a aplicação suporta isto. Por exemplo, somos capazes de mover a janela de bate-papo para o Screenpad, enquanto um jogo está rodando na tela principal.

Há várias pequenas aplicações pré-instaladas que dão uma impressão das possibilidades do Screenpad. Por exemplo, há uma calculadora e um campo para a entrada da caligrafia, e um pacote de aplicações de teclas rápidas que muitas vezes utilizam funções tais como cortar, copiar e colar.

Display - Boa reprodução de cores

O brilho (433,9 cd/m²) e o contraste (1043:1) do visor mate de 16 polegadas (3840 x 2400 pixels) preenchem os requisitos. Os pontos positivos são os tempos de resposta rápidos e a falta de PWM cintilante.

O display suporta a tecnologia FreeSync da AMD, que ajusta dinamicamente as taxas de atualização do display e as taxas de quadros da GPU uns aos outros. Desta forma, a imagem criada deve ser a mais suave possível, particularmente durante jogos de computador.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . O laptop oferece três perfis de desempenho específicos do fabricante ("Silent", "Performance" e "Turbo"), e você pode alternar entre eles usando a combinação de teclas "Fn" + "F5". O teste multi-tarefa do benchmark Cinebench R15 funciona brevemente a velocidades entre 4 e 4,4 GHz, e o teste de rosca única entre 3,1 e 4,7 GHz. Na operação com bateria, a CPU funciona entre 3 e 4,1 GHz (multithread) e 2 e 4,7 GHz (single-thread).

Placa Gráfica

O desempenho real de uma GPU RTX 3000 depende de vários fatores: o resfriamento, o equipamento de armazenamento e o TGP máximo que um fabricante configura dentro dos limites definidos pela Nvidia. O Asus permite o GeForce Laptop RTX 3080 TigPU um TGP máximo de 165 watts (140 watts + 25 watts de impulso dinâmico). A GPU é capaz de usar o rápido armazenamento gráfico GDDR6 (16.384 MB).

Segundo a Asus, o impulso dinâmico (10 watts máximo) só está disponível se o perfil de desempenho "Turbo" for selecionado, e o teste Witcher 3 confirma isso. O máximo (25 watts) precisaria ser habilitado usando o software Armoury Crate (perfil "Manual"). A faixa de resultados de referência fica logo acima da média RTX 3080 Ti que determinamos até agora.

Mas isto não é o fim da história. Há também a opção de saída direta de imagem via GeForce GPU (Armoury Crate, MUX switch: GPU separado). Em combinação com um aumento manual do impulso dinâmico para 25 watts, a performance gráfica aumenta visivelmente.

Desempenho nos jogos

O hardware traz todos os jogos atuais suavemente para a tela em FHD para a resolução QHD e configurações máximas. A utilização da resolução total da tela de 3840 x 2400 pixels requer ajustes reduzidos em alguns momentos. As taxas de quadros variam em torno da média RTX 3080 Ti. A saída direta de imagem via GeForce GPU (chave MUX: GPU separada) em combinação com um aumento do impulso dinâmico para 25 watt leva a um ligeiro aumento das taxas de quadros.

As taxas de quadros baixas quando o perfil "Silencioso" é ativado são devidas ao "Modo Whisper 2.0" da GPU GeForce, que é suposto manter o nível de ruído tão baixo quanto possível enquanto o nível de taxa de quadros ainda é suficiente para um jogo (pelo menos 30 a 60 fps). Emissões sonoras

Durante o funcionamento diário com tarefas de escritório e de Internet, os dois ventiladores facilitam a operação, produzindo muito pouco ruído. Às vezes, eles até permanecem desligados. Por outro lado, sob carga total, eles ficam barulhentos com um nível máximo de ruído de 50 dB(A) durante o teste de estresse e 48 dB(A) durante o teste Witcher 3. Asus anuncia o Zephyrus principalmente como um laptop para jogos, mas o conceito do laptop também é voltado para os criadores de conteúdo: Processamento de vídeo e imagem, renderização e, é claro, também jogos são as disciplinas centrais. os jogos de 4k são possíveis em configurações de alto a máximo.

Embora o Screenpad Plus deva oferecer um certo valor agregado em alguns cenários de aplicação, ele também aumenta o peso, o preço de compra e o tamanho do laptop.

ARyzen 9-6900HXaPU e GeForce Computador portátil RTX 3080-Tia GPU proporciona a performance informática necessária, e ambos os componentes funcionam a uma velocidade de relógio alta e constante. Dois SSDs PCIe 4 (RAID 0) garantem tempos de carga curtos e oferecem muito espaço de armazenamento (4 TB). O pacote completo é arredondado por 64 GB de memória de trabalho.

O desenvolvimento de ruído e calor sob carga no nível habitual para esta classe de laptop. Entretanto, durante o funcionamento diário, o laptop permanece muito silencioso. O bom visor de 16 polegadas no formato 16:10 pontua com uma excelente reprodução de cores (certificação Pantone) e cobre completamente o espaço de cores DCI-P3.

Apesar do alto desempenho em computação, você não precisa viver com uma bateria de curta duração. Uma carga de bateria (90 Wh) dura quase 8 horas de funcionamento WLAN. Se você precisa de um desempenho computacional poderoso e uma vida útil da bateria tão longa quanto possível, você dificilmente poderá contornar a Apple MacBook Pro 16. Por outro lado, você então não poderia substituir ou expandir o SSD, nem a memória de trabalho. Além disso, o MacBook também usa uma tela refletiva.
