O painel mate 4K (3.840 x 2.160 pixels) na unidade de revisão atual proporciona um brilho de pico significativamente mais alto do que a tela FHD em seu modelo de irmão (401 cd/m² vs. 275,1 cd/m²).

No entanto, ainda há espaço para melhorias em termos de contraste (871:1 vs. 700:1): ambos os displays ficam aquém do que consideramos bons valores (> 1.000:1). Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Reprodução de cores imprecisas devido a problemas de software

Certas combinações de software True Color e driver iGPU podem levar a uma reprodução imprecisa das imagens. Quando isto acontece, todas as cores mostradas aparecerão distorcidas e branqueadas. A MSI recomenda a desinstalação completa e depois a reinstalação de ambos os componentes. Depois de tentar, descobrimos que este método resolve o problema.

Condições de teste

Você pode alternar entre quatro perfis de desempenho usando o MSI Center pré-instalado (ver fotos) ou pressionando a combinação de teclas Fn+F7. Se o recurso "Automático Inteligente" de nível superior, baseado em IA for ativado (como no nosso caso), o MSI Center escolherá automaticamente o perfil apropriado para a situação atual.

Testamos o modelo FHD com o modo dGPU ativo. Em contraste, a Nvidia Optimus foi ativada durante nossa revisão do dispositivo atual. Portanto, os resultados das medições nem sempre podem ser diretamente comparáveis.

Processador

O processador Core i9-12900HX (Alder Lake) consiste em oito núcleos de desempenho (Hyper-Threading, 2,3 a 5 GHz) e oito núcleos de eficiência (sem Hyper-Threading, 1,7 a 3,6 GHz), dando um total de 24 roscas.

No Cinebench R15, a CPU completou tanto o teste multifios (P-cores: 4,4 GHz, E-cores: 3,3 GHz) quanto o teste de rosca única (P-cores: 500 MHz a 5 GHz, E-cores: 400 MHz a 3,6 GHz) em altas velocidades de clock. O teste foi um pouco mais lento com a energia da bateria.

O teste Cinebench 15 loop test revelou que a CPU é capaz de funcionar a altas velocidades de relógio continuamente. O uso do perfil "Extreme Performance" fez com que o desempenho fosse marginalmente mais estável.

NoModelo FHDo SSD com o sistema operacional (também fabricado pela Samsung) sofre de quedas de desempenho devido à estrangulamento térmico. Emissões - O MSI GT77 tem quatro ventiladores

Emissões sonoras

Os quatro ventiladores podem gerar bastante ruído: sob carga, os níveis de ruído atingiram 53 dB(A) durante o teste Witcher 3 e 56 dB(A) durante o teste de estresse. Em modo inativo ou sob carga baixa, pelo menos um dos ventiladores normalmente gira e o ruído dos ventiladores pode ir até 42 dB(A). Entretanto, o FHD Titan não é afetado por isto. Uma explicação possível é que o controle do ventilador no modelo 4K poderia ser um pouco mais agitado devido ao recurso ativo "Automático Inteligente". O perfil "Modo Silencioso" ajuda a reduzir a quantidade de ruído quando o sistema está em funcionamento - às custas da potência computacional


O perfil "Extreme Performance" permite modificar o controle do ventilador. As opções disponíveis incluem "Auto", "Cooler Boost" (ventiladores funcionam na velocidade máxima) e "Advanced" (personalização das curvas dos ventiladores).

Teste de estresse

A CPU completou o teste de estresse (rodando Prime95 e FurMark por pelo menos uma hora) em velocidades médias de processamento, enquanto a GPU foi capaz de atingir sua velocidade máxima de clock. O teste de estresse representa uma situação extrema. Realizamos este teste para verificar se o sistema é estável enquanto funciona com carga máxima.

Duração da bateria

Para nosso teste Wi-Fi (visita automática a websites usando um roteiro) e teste de vídeo (reprodução em loop do curta-metragem Big Buck Bunny (codificação H.264, FHD)), o laptop de 17,3 polegadas conseguiu funcionar por 5:52 horas e 6:50 horas, respectivamente. O Modelo irmão de FHDdurou um pouco mais devido à sua resolução de tela inferior.

Com o Titan GT77, a MSI está fornecendo um dos laptops DTR de melhor desempenho no momento. Ele foi projetado para cenários de uso que requerem um intenso poder de computação e uma grande quantidade de RAM, tais como renderização e jogos.

O Núcleo i9-12900HX e GeForce Laptop RTX 3080 Ti (175 watts TGP, 16 GB de VRAM) são capazes de funcionar consistentemente em altas velocidades de relógio. O laptop gera bastante calor e ruído, o que é típico desta classe de hardware. As duas portas Thunderbolt 4 oferecem opções de expansão (por exemplo, GPU externo, soluções de ancoragem). Além disso, o laptop apresenta um teclado mecânico bem desenhado e uma vida útil de bateria muito decente.
