Embora alguns notebooks da HP pareçam mais como bombardeiros de plástico, o ZBook Firefly parece bastante sofisticado. Testamos a atual variante G10 A de 14 polegadas baseada na AMD e revelamos seus pontos fortes e fracos.

Em 2023, o Firefly 14 oferece uma variedade de configurações para o senhor escolher. Os entusiastas da Intel podem optar por um processador da série Raptor Lake, enquanto as versões da AMD são equipadas com um chip Zen 4. Junto com o Ryzen 7 7840HSa HP também oferece o Ryzen 5 Pro 7640HSque alimenta o modelo que analisamos. Em vez da Radeon 780Mo laptop apresenta a Radeon 760M como iGPU, mas a última ainda oferece um desempenho respeitável em comparação com as iGPUs da Intel. O modelo atual 5G3G5ES#ABD custava em torno de US$ 1.260 a US$ 1.360 durante nossa avaliação. Essa variante vem com 16 GB de RAM DDR5-5600 e um SSD NVMe de 512 GB e apresenta um painel IPS fosco com uma proporção de 16:10 e uma resolução de 1920 x 1200 pixels. A tela foi projetada para atingir 400 cd/m² de brilho e cobre 100% do espaço de cores sRGB (mais detalhes sobre isso em breve). A versão Windows 11 Pro completa o pacote.

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Desempenho

Desde que o senhor não pretenda executar aplicativos 3D exigentes, o Firefly 14 deve ter recursos suficientes para durar os próximos anos com sua configuração de hardware atual. Processador

Como mencionado anteriormente, o Ryzen 5 Pro 7640HS é uma adição recente à família Zen 4, com 6 núcleos que podem lidar com até 12 threads simultaneamente graças ao SMT. Operando a uma velocidade de clock que varia de 4,3 a 5 GHz sob carga, oferecendo um desempenho impressionante. Além disso, o processador conta com um cache L3 de 16 MB, aumentando ainda mais seus recursos.

O Ryzen 5 Pro demonstra um forte desempenho em benchmarks. Embora o 7640HS (Non-Pro) no LOQ da Lenovo calcule um pouco mais rápido, ele não chega a igualar o nível de desempenho do Ryzen 9 Pro 7940HS encontrado no HP EliteBook 845. Um dos principais rivais da Intel, o Core i7-1360Pfica para trás no loop do Cinebench devido a um desenvolvimento de desempenho mais consistente.

Desempenho em jogos

Se ignorarmos a ausência de um driver de GPU atual da HP durante o período de testes (o driver oficial da AMD não funcionou com o Firefly 14) e os problemas resultantes em determinados jogos (como Star Wars Jedi Survivor e Armored Core 6ambos travaram na inicialização), a Radeon 760M se mostra adequada para jogos mais antigos ou títulos menos exigentes. O Firefly 14 destaca-se como um dos poucos notebooks teoricamente adequados para usuários sensíveis a ruídos, especialmente durante tarefas simples. Embora a ventoinha nem sempre seja totalmente silenciosa durante o modo ocioso e atividades leves, como trabalho de escritório, reprodução de vídeo e navegação na Web, ela funciona em um nível suficientemente baixo para que seja quase imperceptível, mesmo em ambientes silenciosos. O único problema: nosso exemplar analisado teve de lidar com um zumbido perceptível da bobina, especialmente quando em marcha lenta, o que pode incomodar alguns usuários. Sob carga, ele geralmente não tem um desempenho tão bom. os 45 a 46 dB(A) são claramente audíveis e - apesar da CPU/GPU mais fraca - às vezes notavelmente mais do que o EliteBook 845 G10 (34 a 43 dB).

Em termos de temperatura, o Firefly 14 se comporta de forma semelhante ao seu antecessor EliteBook. As superfícies do gabinete mal aquecem até cerca de 25°C em média durante o modo inativo, o que é realmente confortável. Teste de estresse

Os testes de estresse Furmark e Prime95 não revelaram nenhuma preocupação séria. Não é incomum que a CPU seja acelerada abaixo de sua taxa básica (como visto na captura de tela), especialmente considerando a temperatura média da CPU de aproximadamente 75°C, que está muito abaixo dos limites críticos. O comportamento em jogos, principalmente durante o The Witcher 3, mostrou-se mais problemático durante o teste. Enquanto a Radeon 760M manteve altas velocidades de clock, o Ryzen 5 Pro 7640HS diminuiu para 1,4 GHz. A HP deveria pensar em abordar e melhorar essa prática.

O modelo de teste, equipado com o Ryzen 5 Pro 7640HSdestaca-se não apenas por sua eficiência energética, mas também por seu desempenho impressionante (especialmente no caso da Radeon 760M gPU integrada).

O potente hardware está contido em um corpo elegante, robusto e de alta qualidade que apresenta excelentes dispositivos de entrada e portas modernas, incluindo 2x USB 4. Outros recursos notáveis incluem excelente duração da bateria e qualidade de áudio robusta.
