O novo XMG Evo 14 da Schenker é um laptop compacto de 14 polegadas que pretende se destacar da multidão com sua grande variedade de conexões e boas opções de manutenção. Como usuário, o senhor tem a opção de escolher entre um AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS (a partir de aproximadamente US$ 1.060) ou um Intel Core Ultra 7 155H (a partir de aproximadamente US$ 1.223) juntamente com suas iGPUs correspondentes. Estojo e conectividade
Da mesma forma que o maior XMG Evo 15o fabricante optou por usar uma caixa de alumínio resistente - só que o Evo 14 não é preto, mas sim cinza escuro. Portanto, é muito menos sensível a marcas de impressões digitais. Sua estabilidade geral é muito boa e as dobradiças também são bem ajustadas, o que faz com que haja apenas um mínimo de oscilação ao ajustar o ângulo da tampa. Seu ângulo máximo de abertura é de quase 180 graus.
Em comparação com a maioria dos outros notebooks atuais de 14 polegadas, o Evo 14 apresenta um grande número de conexões, incluindo Gigabit Ethernet e um leitor de cartão completo. No entanto, é um mistério para nós por que uma das três portas USB-A regulares suporta apenas o antigo padrão 2.0. Suas opções de manutenção também são excelentes, pois há dois slots para RAM (máximo de 96 GB) e dois slots para SSDs M.2 2280. No entanto, o gabinete permanece bastante compacto em geral e, pesando 1,46 kg, também não é muito pesado.
O módulo WLAN (Intel AX210) oferece taxas de transferência muito boas e estáveis, mas ainda não é compatível com Wi-Fi 7. A webcam, que suporta o Studio Effects da Microsoft, tira fotos decentes e, graças ao seu sensor IR, o reconhecimento facial via Windows Hello também está disponível. O leitor de cartões completo não pareceu gostar muito do nosso cartão de referência (máx. 90 MB/s); ele conseguiu mais de 250 MB/s usando outro cartão (ADATA V90). Isso significa que o senhor pode esperar diferenças bastante significativas, dependendo do cartão que usar.
O teclado retroiluminado preto oferece um bom contraste com o gabinete cinza e é de tamanho médio para digitar, mas suas teclas maiores emitem um ruído bastante alto. O clickpad de vidro (12,3 x 7,7 cm) geralmente funciona bem, mas recomendamos que o senhor toque apenas no pad para fazer entradas. Os cliques mecânicos emitem um ruído alto, que não parece ser de alta qualidade.

A tela IPS de 14 polegadas do Evo 14 exibe uma imagem muito nítida graças aos seus 2.880 x 1.800 pixels em uma proporção de 16:10. Sua superfície fosca ajuda a evitar reflexos, mas a imagem, felizmente, não parece granulada. As cores são vivas, mas não comparáveis às dos painéis OLED. Por sua vez, não é usado PWM e sua taxa de atualização de 120 Hz garante movimentos suaves. Seu brilho é superior a 400 cd/m² e, juntamente com seu nível de preto decente, resulta em uma taxa de contraste máxima de mais de 1.300:1. Entretanto, nem o brilho nem a temperatura da cor podem ser ajustados automaticamente.
Um perfil pré-calibrado pode ser baixado do Control Center, o que causou uma ótima impressão durante nosso teste. Em nossa análise usando o software profissional CalMAN, seus desvios de cor e escala de cinza já estavam abaixo do importante limite de 3. O XMG Evo 14 é um laptop super rápido e o AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS (Zen 4) apresentou um desempenho muito bom e estável no geral, embora não tenha conseguido acompanhar o novo Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (Zen 5). Mesmo assim, as CPUs Zen 5 só estão disponíveis atualmente com RAM integrada. Durante nosso teste, o Evo 14 sempre foi um dispositivo responsivo e não notamos nenhum problema com a estabilidade do sistema - além disso, suas latências também foram muito baixas. Nosso dispositivo de teste usa a versão de 1 TB do Samsung 990 Pro, que conseguiu taxas de transferência muito altas. Elas também se mantiveram estáveis sob carga prolongada, o que não é uma coisa natural.
A placa de vídeo integrada Radeon 780M iGPU alcançou valores de desempenho decentes e provou ser particularmente impressionante em jogos, ficando atrás apenas da Intel Arc Graphics com 8 núcleos Xeque ainda estava claramente na liderança durante os testes sintéticos. No entanto, a nova Radeon 890M foi visivelmente mais rápida em nossos benchmarks de jogos padrão. Seu desempenho gráfico permaneceu estável sob carga prolongada.

Emissões e energia
O Evo 14 usa duas ventoinhas e é um dispositivo muito silencioso durante o uso diário. Mesmo em jogos ou no teste de estresse, medimos um máximo de 37,6 dB(A) no modo Enthusiast. Ao usar o modo Balanced, no entanto, o dispositivo fica ainda mais silencioso (máx. 29 dB(A)) se essa for sua prioridade. No modo Overboost, notamos um alto nível de 44,6 dB(A), o que não vale a pena, pois o senhor não obtém muito mais potência. Não houve outros ruídos eletrônicos provenientes do nosso dispositivo de teste.
As temperaturas da superfície foram completamente inofensivas, com exceção de um ponto de aquecimento na parte inferior. A área do teclado, em particular, sempre permaneceu em uma temperatura agradável. Ainda assim, o contato da pele com a parte inferior deve ser evitado durante o uso intenso.
Apesar de seu painel de alta resolução de 120 Hz, o consumo ocioso do laptop é muito baixo e também não notamos problemas sob carga. Medimos um máximo de 83 watts, com o valor se estabilizando rapidamente em ~76 watts durante o teste de estresse. A fonte de alimentação de 100 watts é perfeitamente adequada. A bateria de 80 Wh do dispositivo permite uma boa duração da bateria, mas ela foi superada até mesmo por alguns concorrentes. No teste WLAN, medimos pouco menos de 12 horas (150 cd/m²) e 9:40 horas (brilho máximo). A 120 Hz, foram cerca de 60 minutos a menos em cada caso. No teste de vídeo, ele durou muito bem 15,5 horas.

Veredicto - O XMG Evo 14 é um bom pacote completo sem os compromissos habituais
O XMG Evo 14 da Schenker prova que mesmo os laptops modernos não precisam prescindir de muitas conexões e opções de manutenção abrangentes. Usando os dois slots de RAM, o senhor pode obter até 96 GB, sua capacidade de SSD pode ser expandida com muita facilidade e há uma grande quantidade de conexões a bordo. Além disso, o dispositivo pode ser amplamente configurado.
O processador AMD oferece um desempenho bom e, acima de tudo, estável - o mesmo pode ser dito sobre a Radeon 780M. A tela IPS do dispositivo apresenta uma alta resolução, uma taxa de atualização de 120 Hz e cores precisas, o que significa que o senhor pode editar imagens sem esforço no espaço de cores sRGB.
O novo Schenker XMG Evo 14 oferece um bom pacote completo, incluindo um gabinete de metal por um preço inicial de pouco mais de US$ 1.000. Apesar de seu gabinete relativamente compacto, o senhor não precisa prescindir de valores de desempenho sólidos, várias conexões e boas opções de manutenção.
