Testando o Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 com 8GB: Quais são as capacidades do novo modelo básico da série RTX-3000?

No início deste ano, Nvidia introduziu uma placa gráfica Ampere adicional chamada Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050. A GeForce RTX 3050 representa agora a entrada no mundo da série RTX-3000. Com o exemplo da KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX, damos uma olhada mais detalhada no desempenho do modelo de nível de entrada.

Neste momento, a série GeForce RTX-3000 já está no mercado há algum tempo. No entanto, a Nvidia continua no início do ano, apresentando a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050. Com isto, existe agora um representante acessível no segmento de nível básico que deve facilitar a entrada na série RTX-3000.

Para testá-lo, o fabricante KFA2 nos forneceu uma amostra de teste correspondente. Para ser exato, usamos o KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX. Com o modo Fan Stop, nossa unidade de teste oferece um recurso útil que permite a operação silenciosa em 2D. Além disso, também é visualmente atraente com a iluminação RGB. Para o chip gráfico, o GeForce RTX 3050 utiliza um módulo da Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. Entretanto, a GA106 utilizada é uma forma que é significativamente mais fraca. No final, ainda restam 2560 unidades shader que são capazes de usar 8 GB de GDDR6-VRAM no total. Com isto, Nvidia conta e supera a AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT nesta área, oferecendo tanto VRAM quanto a AMD Radeon RX 6600. Em termos de consumo de energia, o Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 é relativamente eficiente com 130 watts. Entretanto, o modelo da KFA2 ainda exige uma conexão elétrica de 8 pinos. Externamente, ele pode servir até quatro monitores ao mesmo tempo. Para isso, há uma única conexão HDMI que suporta o mais novo padrão (2.1) e três conexões DisplayPort (1.4a).

No momento de seu lançamento, Nvidia especificou um preço de varejo recomendado de 279 Euros (~$304). Entretanto, devido à situação atual do mercado, é claro que este preço não pode ser mantido. Nossa unidade de teste atual custa 389 Euros (~$423), o que é significativamente mais do que o preço de varejo recomendado pela Nvidia.

Nosso sistema de teste é baseado em um AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

Um sistema AMD atual baseado no Asus X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Hero WiFi serve como nossa plataforma de teste. O AMD Ryzen 9 5900Xa CPU oferece um bom desempenho de CPU, e estamos usando um AiO (Alphacool Eisbear 360) para refrigeração. Os 32 GB de memória de trabalho vêm da G.Skill e foram fornecidos a nós. Usamos um Acer Predator XB321HK como monitor, o que não nos limita com sua capacidade de UHD. Neste ponto, gostaríamos de agradecer à AMD por nos fornecer nossa plataforma de teste.

Em termos das velocidades de relógio do KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX, o KFA2 excede ligeiramente as velocidades de relógio Boost das especificações da Nvidia em nossa unidade de teste. Ao mesmo tempo, as velocidades do relógio Boost são claramente excedidas em quase todos os jogos. O KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX funciona frequentemente em velocidades de relógio entre 1900 MHz e 1960 MHz em nossos testes de jogos. Neste modelo, o alvo de potência não pode ser aumentado ainda mais, o que limita ligeiramente as opções de overclocking.

Padrões de referência sintéticos

Nos primeiros testes que fizemos para os benchmarks sintéticos, o KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX coloca exatamente onde esperávamos com antecedência. Devido a seus dados técnicos, já havíamos esperado uma desvantagem significativa para o Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. No entanto, o GeForce RTX 3050 se saiu surpreendentemente bem em comparação com o Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Superque é capaz de manter sob controle na maioria dos testes. Em comparação com a AMD, nossa unidade de teste é capaz de colocar entre osAMD Radeon RX 5500 XTe oAMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. Neste momento, ainda não conseguimos colocar nossas mãos em um modelo básico da atual série AMD Radeon RX-6000 (AMD Radeon RX 6400 ou AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT).

Nossa unidade de teste supera facilmente a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Supere você pode esperar cerca de 10% a mais de desempenho. O AMD Radeon RX 5500 XTnão tem chance contra o GeForce RTX 3050, mesmo que nosso modelo de teste do KFA2 não seja capaz de competir com umAMD Radeon RX 5600 XT.

Dando uma olhada em todos os jogos que testamos com o KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX mostra que este modelo é claramente uma placa gráfica para jogos de 1080p. Os jogos mais recentes, como o deus da guerra, por exemplo, exigem muito da placa de vídeo em configurações máximas. Aqui medimos apenas 38 FPS. Entretanto, esses são apenas alguns outliers separados, já que a maioria dos jogos pode ser desfrutada com o máximo de detalhes em FullHD a 60 a 100 FPS. Você pode jogar alguns jogos suavemente às vezes, mesmo em 1440p

As VRAM 8-GB embutidas são boas e tranquilizadoras, já que as taxas de FPS caem notavelmente quando o limite de VRAM é atingido. Isto não acontece enquanto se joga em 1080p com a quantidade de VRAM aqui. Como de costume, usamos o jogo"The Witcher 3"(1080p Ultra preset) para medir as taxas de quadros e seu desenvolvimento. As emissões do KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX deixam uma boa impressão. O TDP relativamente baixo de apenas 130 watts tem um efeito positivo sobre o consumo de energia sob carga. O sistema de refrigeração embutido com seus dois ventiladores axiais de 92 milímetros (~3,6 pol.) garante uma refrigeração muito boa sob carga. Não conseguimos determinar se este é também o caso de outros modelos do fabricante ou simplesmente tivemos sorte. A placa gráfica também tem um modo de parada do ventilador, de modo que não ouvimos a placa gráfica durante a operação ociosa. Sob carga, os ventiladores se movimentam um pouco para cima, criando um ruído silencioso de zumbido que é audível fora da caixa fechada. A uma distância de 15 cm (~5,9 in), medimos um nível de ruído de 39,8 dB(A) durante o teste de estresse.

O KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX é um representante das novas placas gráficas de nível básico da atual série Nvidia RTX-3000. O modelo oferece características úteis, produzindo um desempenho ligeiramente superior com a maior velocidade do relógio Boost em comparação com os dados de referência. Na comparação direta de desempenho, o KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX mostra aproximadamente a mesma velocidade que um Nvidia GeForce RTX 1660 Super. No entanto, com 8 GB de VRAM, há mais 2 GB neste modelo RTX. Além disso, o novo modelo básico também oferece DLSS e raytracing, que tinham sido reservados aos modelos GTX. Em termos de equipamento, nossa unidade de teste também pontua com uma iluminação RGB que acrescenta algum apelo visual à placa gráfica. Aqueles que não gostam disto também podem desligá-lo usando um pequeno interruptor diretamente na placa gráfica.

A placa gráfica foi capaz de nos impressionar com um desempenho sólido em todo o processo. Mesmo durante o uso intensivo, não há saltos de desempenho e o usuário ainda obtém um desempenho constante. Isto é o resultado de uma combinação de baixo consumo de energia e um bom sistema de resfriamento que sempre mantém um bom controle sobre a placa gráfica. Entretanto, a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 tem que enfrentar o Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super ou oNvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super como concorrentes. Aqueles que atualmente possuem uma placa gráfica ainda mais antiga ou mais lenta e não querem pagar os altos preços dos modelos de gama média ou alta podem possivelmente fazer um bom compromisso por um tempo com a compra de uma Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050. Atualmente, os preços dos modelos top de linha estão caindo ligeiramente. Ao mesmo tempo, o KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX também não está disponível em nenhum lugar com o preço de varejo recomendado pela Nvidia.
