Case - Um rosto familiar!

Se o senhor desse uma olhada rápida no Geekom A5, pensaria imediatamente que ele parece familiar. E, de fato, as semelhanças com o GeekomIT11eIT12da Geekom estão à vista e isso é claramente destacado nas imagens. Em termos de requisitos de espaço, também não há diferença, o que ressalta as semelhanças.

Também não há mudanças no que diz respeito à escolha do material: A gaiola metálica interna é envolvida por um invólucro de plástico que confere ao dispositivo excelente solidez. Em termos de design, a Geekom tomou um caminho diferente e adornou o A5 com uma cor rosa-ouro. Pode não agradar a todos, mas certamente é diferente do cinza monótono ou do preto. Em conjunto com seus dispositivos periféricos brancos, o ouro rosa do Geekom A5 se encaixa no conceito geral. Comunicação

Acessórios

Manutenção

O Geekom A5 é muito fácil de abrir. A base é fixada por quatro parafusos e também é usada para dissipar o calor do SSD. Há um segundo slot M.2 disponível, mas falta uma almofada térmica na parte traseira. É possível instalar um total de três dispositivos de armazenamento em massa, como foi o caso doGeekom Mini IT11 ou oGeekom Mini IT12. Para ter acesso à ventoinha da CPU, o dispositivo precisa ser desmontado ainda mais. Infelizmente, não é possível fazer uma limpeza rápida.

Desempenho - Ryzen 7 5800H da AMD com 8 núcleos Zen 3 e 16 threads

Com oAMD Ryzen 7 5800Ho Geekom A5 tem um bom SoC, embora não seja mais um dos modelos mais atualizados. Com os oito núcleos Zen-3, o A5 não tem motivos para se esconder, pois nossos testes revelaram um bom desempenho de vários núcleos. O Geekom A5 também lida facilmente com aplicativos que exigem muita memória graças aos 32 GB de RAM e ao SSD de 512 GB.

Condições de teste

Realizamos todos os testes de desempenho usando o perfil de energia equilibrado. Não alteramos o desempenho do SoC e deixamos as configurações do BIOS de acordo com as configurações de fábrica.

Processador

A comparação direta de desempenho mostra que o Geekom A5 está no mesmo nível do Geekom Mini IT12. Nos benchmarks sintéticos relacionados ao desempenho do sistema, o Geekom A5 apresentou um resultado relativamente bom no PCMark 10. No teste Crossmark, nosso dispositivo de análise não conseguiu mais acompanhar o ritmo, o que significa que o Geekom A5 só conseguiu garantir uma colocação no meio da tabela. Da mesma forma, a amostra analisada completou os testes de RAM com muito sucesso, embora isso tenha sido suficiente apenas para conseguir o quarto lugar. Nessa área, oMorefine M600se encontra no topo do grupo devido à sua DDR5. No uso diário, não observamos nenhuma limitação. O Minisfourm UN1245e o Miniforum NAB6não é igualado pelo modelo encontrado em nosso dispositivo de análise. No entanto, o sólido terceiro lugar obtido em nossa comparação não é motivo de preocupação, pois a diferença de desempenho não é perceptível no uso diário. O que é mais importante é o desempenho contínuo e isso é algo com que o Geekom A5 lida com segurança. O desempenho de leitura permanece estável durante longos períodos de tempo. OMinisfourm UN1245vacila um pouco nessa área, o que consideramos uma vantagem para o Geekom A5.

Desempenho em jogos

Apesar do bom desempenho 3D nos benchmarks sintéticos, o senhor não deve esperar muito daAMD Radeon RX Vega 8. Em sua essência, ainda estamos lidando com uma iGPU simples. No entanto, mais uma vez, a máquina da Geekom conseguiu se impor contra a concorrência na comparação. Como a maioria dos dispositivos de comparação é equipada com processadores Intel, os três primeiros lugares são ocupados exclusivamente por mini PCs com processadores AMD. Nessa área, a solução gráfica integrada da Intel simplesmente não é competitiva. Entretanto, embora o Geekom A5 não possa ser considerado um PC para jogos, nossa amostra de análise pode lidar com títulos simples e antigos. O desempenho em jogos é visivelmente maior com o HX99Gbem como com o NUCXi7 ambos fornecidos pela Minisforum. Eles oferecem um excelente desempenho em jogos devido à placa de vídeo dedicada.

As medições de volume revelam um ponto fraco claro no Geekom A5. Sem nenhuma carga presente, o mini PC funciona muito silenciosamente, quase silenciosamente. Temperatura

Como em muitos outros minicomputadores, o gabinete do Geekom A5 aquece apenas ligeiramente. O ar fresco é aspirado pelas laterais e direcionado para fora do dispositivo na parte traseira. Com o AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, sob carga, observamos temperaturas relativamente altas, o que sugere que a Geekom não está limitando o SoC termicamente nem em termos de consumo de energia. O SoC atingiu pouco menos de 100 °C logo após a inicialização. Esse aumento de curto prazo causou as altas temperaturas que também observamos ao analisar o multi-loop do Cinebench R15. Durante o curso contínuo do teste de estresse, a temperatura da CPU se estabilizou em 89 °C sem críticas. Com 35 watts de carga contínua, o SoC funcionou em um nível estável.

Consumo de energia

Basicamente, os mini PCs são muito econômicos quando comparados aos PCs desktop tradicionais. Em comparação com os dispositivos da concorrência nesta análise, observamos inicialmente baixos requisitos de energia quando em funcionamento inativo. No entanto, sob carga, isso muda e, com apenas 90 watts, o Geekom A5 exigiu brevemente mais energia do que alguns dos concorrentes. Sob carga média, registramos quase 61 watts, o que também é um pouco mais do que os concorrentes do A5. Com o Geekom A5, o senhor obtém um minicomputador de aparência inteligente que está trilhando novos caminhos no que diz respeito ao design de cores. Nem é preciso dizer que, à primeira vista, o senhor precisa se acostumar um pouco com a cor, embora o tom rosa-ouro não seja particularmente dominante. Com uma construção semelhante à doGeekom IT11e oGeekom IT12o Geekom A5 tem um gabinete quase idêntico com as mesmas vantagens e desvantagens. Para se diferenciar mais dos dispositivos com tecnologia Intel, gostaríamos de ter visto um pouco mais de aventura na área. Um gabinete completamente novo teria sido bom e, com um design novo, a Geekom poderia ter deixado para trás sua linguagem de design ultrapassada.

Com seu AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, o Geekom A5 não tem motivos para se esconder. Suas opções de conectividade são boas, embora o Thunderbolt não esteja incluído.

Em termos de escolha de processador, oAMD Ryzen 7 5800Hé um SoC que oferece desempenho adequado. Embora o processador não pertença aos modelos atuais de seu tipo, o chip de 8 núcleos pode acompanhar os processadores mais modernos. Com 32 GB de RAM, o Geekom A5 também é equipado com uma quantidade generosa de RAM, mesmo que o SSD de 512 GB seja de tamanho padrão. A Geekom basicamente projetou um bom mini PC que impressiona com sua boa seleção de portas, embora o Thunderbolt infelizmente esteja ausente. Nessa área, os modelos IT11 e IT12 têm uma clara vantagem e isso também se reflete no preço mais alto.

O ruído de fundo nitidamente audível sob carga é digno de crítica e, além da aparência do dispositivo, gostaríamos de ter visto o uso de um módulo Wi-Fi mais moderno.
