Qualcomm SD 685

O Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 (SD685, SM6225-AD) é um SoC de médio porte baseado em ARM, encontrado principalmente em tablets e smartphones Android. Ele apresenta 8 núcleos Kryo 265 (design personalizado, capacidade de 64 bits) que são divididos em dois clusters. Um cluster rápido de quatro núcleos com até 2,8 GHz (Kryo 265 Gold - derivado do Cortex-A73) e um cluster de eficiência de economia de energia com até 1,9 GHz (Kryo 265 Silver - derivado do Cortex A53). Os dois clusters também podem ser usados juntos. De acordo com a Qualcomm, o SD685 tem cerca de 15% a mais de desempenho de CPU e 10% a mais de desempenho de GPU em comparação com o antigo SD680 (graças às velocidades de clock mais altas).

Além dos 8 núcleos de CPU, o SoC integra uma GPU Adreno 610 de gama média com um controlador de memória LPDDR4 (canal duplo) e suporta Wi-Fi (802.11ac + MIMO, máx. 867 Mbps), Bluetooth 5 e LTE (modem X11 LTE com até 390 Mbps de download).

O SoC é produzido em 6nm.
