Intel Celeron J4125
O Intel Celeron J4125 é um SoC quad-core principalmente para mini PCs baratos e foi anunciado no final de 2019. Ele funciona a 2-2,7 GHz (Single Core Burst) e é baseado na plataforma Gemini Lake (atualização de 2019). Em comparação com o predecessor, o refresh oferece uma velocidade de relógio ligeiramente mais alta. Similar aos predecessores do Apollo Lake, o chip é fabricado em um processo de 14 nm com FinFETs, mas oferece núcleos de processador ligeiramente melhorados, o dobro da quantidade de cache L2, um pacote menor, uma nova geração de saídas de monitor (Gen 10) e um chip WiFi parcialmente integrado. Além de quatro núcleos de CPU, o chip também inclui uma GPU DirectX 12 capaz, bem como um controlador de memória DDR4/LPDDR4 (dual-channel, até 2400 MHz). O processador não é substituível, pois é soldado diretamente à placa principal.
A arquitetura do processador ainda é chamada de Goldmont Plus. Em comparação com os núcleos mais antigos do Goldmont no Lago Apollo, eles apresentam um cache de nível 2 aumentado (para 4 MB). Isso significa que o desempenho por relógio deve ser um pouco melhor, mas não perto das CPUs de núcleo como Kaby Lake Y.
O desempenho da CPU do Celeron J4125 está em nossos testes semelhante ao de um Pentium Silver N5000 móvel (1,1 - 2,7 GHz Quad-Core a 6W). O desempenho está posicionado no nível de entrada inferior dos processadores de 2020. Ainda para tarefas básicas como ternos de escritório, a navegação com multitarefas moderadas o desempenho do processador deve ser bom.
O UHD Graphics 600 (Gemini Lake) é baseado na arquitetura Gen9 da Intel, que suporta DirectX 12 e também é usado para os adaptadores gráficos Kaby Lake / Skylake / Apollo Lake (como o HD Graphics 520). Equipado com 12 EUs e um relógio de até 750 MHz, o desempenho deve ser aproximadamente igual ao dos antigos HD Graphics 500 (Apollo Lake).
O chip também inclui um mecanismo de vídeo avançado com suporte de hardware para a reprodução do material VP9 e H.265 (8 bits de profundidade de cor).
Similar ao predecessor, a Intel especifica o TDP com 10 Watts (contra 6 Watt para o N4120 móvel, por exemplo). O chip pode, portanto, ser resfriado passivamente em teoria, mas SKUs com ventiladores também são possíveis.
