O Core 2 Duo SP9300 é um CPU dual core energeticamente eficiente (25W TDP) para portáteis. Comparado com outro Core 2 Duo com 2,26 GHz, o SP9300 apresenta o cache de 6 MB de nível 2 do núcleo Penryn. Normalmente 3MB estão habilitados para CPUs de  25 W nesta faixa de freqüência (por exemplo, P8400). Portanto, o desempenho é um pouco melhor que o de CPUs C2D com freqüência semelhante.
