Intel Core i9-10900K
O Intel Core i9-10900K é um processador de alta qualidade para desktops com dez núcleos baseados na arquitetura Comet Lake (CML-S, 4ª geração do Skylake). O processador clica entre 3,7 e 5,3 GHz (todos os 10 núcleos até 4,8 GHz) e pode executar até vinte threads simultaneamente graças ao Hyper-Threading. Os 5,3 GHz só podem ser alcançados abaixo de 70°C de temperatura central (aumento da velocidade térmica de 100 MHz).
O processador ainda é fabricado no antigo processo de 14nm (14nm+++). Comparado ao predecessor, o núcleo i9-9900K, o 10900K oferece maior velocidade de clock e mais dois núcleos. Graças ao multiplicador livre, a CPU também pode ser facilmente overclocked (mas pode não ter muito espaço de manobra).
A arquitetura do Comet Lake é semelhante à do Coffee Lake e oferece as mesmas características e é produzida no mesmo processo de 14nm. Além das melhores taxas de relógio, o controlador de memória agora também suporta RAM DDR4-2933 mais rápido. Graças ao alto Turbo Boost, a CPU é a CPU de jogo mais rápida disponível no momento do anúncio. Usando todos os núcleos, a i9, entretanto, é mais lenta que as CPUs Ryzen superiores (como a Ryzen 9 3950X) que oferecem mais núcleos.
O Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU integrado deve oferecer um desempenho semelhante ao UHD630 no Core i7-9900K. Como solução de baixo custo, ele só executará os jogos atuais suavemente com detalhes reduzidos - se for o caso.
A Intel especifica o TDP com 125 Watts (PL1), mas sob carga completa são consumidos até 250 Watt (PL2). No modo padrão, estes 250 Watt e, portanto, altas velocidades de relógio podem ser mantidas por até 56 segundos, entretanto, todas as placas oferecem a opção de alterar estas configurações.
