O poderoso hardware do GT72VR 7RE pode rodar todos os jogos modernos na resolução Full HD nativa com detalhes altos no máximo. A tecnologia G-Sync da Nvidia garante uma apresentação fluente na tela de 120 Hz. O novo processador quad-core Core i7-7700HQ da geração Kaby Lake deixa uma boa impressão. É um pouco mais veloz que o seu predecessor (Core i7-6700HQ), que é apoiado pelas pontuações do benchmark. No entanto, as melhorias não são enormes.
O MSI GT72VR Dominator Pro é uma máquina para jogos bem sucedida.
Um veloz SSD SATA-III garante um sistema responsivo, e inclusive poderia ser substituído por uma unidade PCIe/NVMe ainda mais veloz, se fosse necessário. O espaço de armazenamento requerido para jogos é fornecido por um disco rígido adicional de 2,5 polegadas. O modelo de 1 TB também poderia ser substituído por uma unidade ainda maior. Você apenas deve remover o painel inferior para substituir as unidades, o qual não é problema.
A tela mate Full HD possui uma taxa de atualização de 120 Hz. Ela consegue bons resultados de iluminação com um bom contraste. No entanto, não é uma tela IPS com ângulos de visão amplos, mas ele supera os painéis TN comuns.
