Contra
O desempenho do CX62 é insuficiente quando consideramos o tamanho robusto e o peso. A CPU ULV Kaby Lake e a GeForce 940MX de nível de entrada são uma má combinação para qualquer trabalho exigente, fora da multitarefas do navegador e do streaming multimídia. Os jogos são bastante limitados para configurações muito baixas a 768p, especialmente para títulos 3D modernos enquanto a ventoinha do sistema tem uma irritante tendência para pulsar quando está sob uso intenso. O chassi, embora seja visualmente igual ao respeitável GE62, se sente mais flexível e barato ao toque. Para finalizar, a tela TN está mal calibrada na condição de fábrica, com níveis de contraste fracos e uma iluminação escura.
As poucas qualidades redentoras do portátil são o seu slot NVMe M.2 e as baixas temperaturas de operação. Esta última deve acelerar a resposta do sistema imensamente sobre a nossa configuração com HD, embora uma atualização feita pelo usuário final, infelizmente, iria anular a garantia. Enquanto isso, as baixas temperaturas do núcleo não deveriam ser surpreendentes, dado que o chassi grosso vem da série G para jogos, onde as CPUs e GPUs de níveis de TDP muito mais altos são comuns. Isto permite que o CX62 mantenha velocidades Turbo Boost e rode com temperaturas mais frias que a maioria dos sistemas com processadores ULV similares.
O CX62 é essencialmente um portátil para jogos enfraquecido com hardware de um portátil multimídia econômico. Existem muito recortes e os usuários estarão melhor gastando um pouco mais em um verdadeiro Ultrabook com desempenho de CPU e opções de tela iguais ou melhores.
