O MSI GE72 é um bom portátil de jogos, mas será que a implementação de uma placa de vídeo profissional é suficiente para criar um bom workstation móvel? Não ficamos convencidos após a análise, e o MSI WE72 tem muitas dificuldades em contra dos rivais estabelecidos. Muitas vezes você é lembrado de suas raízes de gamer. Não há uma porta docking, nem um Thunderbolt 3, portanto, você não pode usar boas estações docking.

Este pode não ser um grande problema dependendo do cenário de uso, mas também há limitações em termos de desempenho, bem como nas emissões. O resfriamento tem problemas com o calor do processador, porque a velocidade irá cair abaixo da velocidade básica (afogamento), mesmo quando apenas colocamos a CPU sob estresse, com o Cinebench. O adaptador de energia de 120 watts é outro fator limitante quando você estressa ambos os componentes. As ventoinhas também podem ser otimizadas, o qual é possível graças ao controle pré-instalados. No entanto, não há muita liberdade graças às altas temperaturas.

Recursos empresariais limitados e resfriamento fraco: A impressão do novo workstation móvel da MSI não é particularmente convincente. O WE72 ainda pode fazer sentido dependendo da carga de trabalho, especialmente quando você considera o preço atraente. 

Uma vantagem do MSI WE72 é o preço competitivo ($1799), porque a familiar concorrência da série Precision da Dell ou os modelos ThinkPad P custam facilmente mais que $3000. Se você usar o MSI WE72 principalmente para aplicativos CAD e pode viver com as limitações mencionadas, definitivamente pode coloca-lo em sua lista de desejos.
