O Fire HD 8 (2018) da Amazon é um tablet de 8 polegadas que é praticamente inigualável em sua relação preço/desempenho. Se você está procurando um tablet acessível para navegar na web, definitivamente vale a pena considerar o Fire HD 8 (2018). Seu som estéreo era muito decente, assim como sua duração de bateria, sua qualidade geral de construção e seu Wi-Fi de banda dupla. A edição Kids apresenta um escudo protetor muito sólido e robusto em azul ou rosa, bem como conteúdo apropriado para crianças.
As diferenças entre o Fire HD 8 (2018) e seu antecessor, como a inclusão do Alexa, são quase insignificantes. No entanto, elas são muito bem-vindas e tornam o modelo mais novo ainda mais atraente do que o Fire HD 8 (2017), considerando seu preço idêntico de apenas $80.
Quando emparelhado com a estação de encaixe Show Mode opcional, o tablet oferecia os mesmos recursos do Echo Show da Amazon a um preço significativamente menor. No momento da escrita, o Echo Show de segunda geração é vendido por mais de $200, enquanto o modelo de 32 GB do pacote Fire HD 8 (2018) mais Show Mode Dock pode ser adquirido por apenas $140.
Dito isto, há algumas limitações que você vai encontrar mais cedo ou mais tarde, por exemplo, o um pouco letárgico MediaTek MT8163 SoC quad-core ou a tela escura de baixa resolução (1280x800). O tablet também não possui um chip GPS, a câmera é utilizável para fotos rápidas na melhor das hipóteses, e o sistema operacional Fire OS baseado no Android 7 é claramente voltado para os serviços da Amazon. A Play Store da Google pode ser instalada retroativamente, mas anulará sua garantia, portanto, cuidado.
