Como o smartphone foi desenvolvido de maneira direcionada para o mercado europeu, a banda LTE, muitas vezes necessária, também está a bordo. Em termos de hardware, o Xiaomi Mi A1 é um excelente smartphone de gama média.
Uma das vantagens dos smartphones Xiaomi é sua câmera, que, para sua faixa de preços, tira fotos excelentes com o efeito Bokeh (desfocagem de profundidade).
