A UMI criou um smartphone sólido com especificações impressionantes por menos de $200 USD. Ele se desempenha tão fluentemente como se esperaria de um smartphone mais caro sem recortar recursos populares como o leitor de digitais, cartão MicroSD, ou inclusive a porta USB Type-C. Embrulhe tudo em um design relativamente sólido e você obtém um smartphone que é difícil de derrotar pelo preço.
Como a maioria dos aparelhos econômicos, no entanto, o demônio está nos detalhes. Suas dimensões são grandes inclusive para un smartphone de 5,5 polegadas e a qualidade de sua câmera traseira demonstra pertencer à categoria econômica. A qualidade do viva voz é pobre e todos seus botões poderiam oferecer uma resposta mais forte quando premido. A recepção de chamadas também é um assunto misturado em nossa área de testes particular e o 4G pode não estra presente para os usuários norte-americanos. A configuração de vibração é fraca e o seu GPS é apenas médio em termos de precisão.
Se a lista de desvantagens não for importante para o uso no dia a dia, então os proprietários devem ficar satisfeitos com o desempenho do hardware e a qualidade geral do UMI Plus.
