Oh, Sony, é muito bom que pela segunda vez que você tenha criado um smartphone de gama alta com recursos tecnológicos inovadores disponíveis. O Xperia XZ Premium impressiona com som de alta resolução, cancelamento de ruído com os fones apropriados e uma função de câmera lenta que funciona muito bem. E tudo isso apenas por alguns dólares a mais em comparação com o Xperia XZ. Então vêm as boas durações da bateria e, claro, a fenomenal tela HDR da qual esperamos que se torne um padrão para aparelhos de gama alta. Se pelo menos a Sony tivesse usado uma tela AMOLED aqui ....
Mas é uma pena, por outro lado, que, em comparação com esses destaques técnicos, o exterior parece bastante desatualizado: a carcaça é pesada e, embora elegante, é fácil de distorcer. Os grandes marcos não ajudam a que a tela pareça moderna. Além disso, o aparelho possui uma capacidade de armazenamento apenas padrão, um módulo GPS lento, uma recepção Wi-Fi medíocre mais longe do roteador e uma qualidade de chamada particularmente nada boa. Os acessórios não possuem carga rápida e o fone de ouvido barato não é digno de um aparelho carro-chefe.
O Xperia XZ Premium é um aparelho com muitas novas tecnologias que comprovou que vídeos em 4K e HDR podem parecer impressionantes mesmo em uma tela de smartphone. Tem uma duração de bateria e uma função de câmera lenta convincentes, mas a Sony poderia ter feito mais esforços em recursos básicos, como na qualidade das chamadas e recepção Wi-Fi.
Se a Sony tivesse sido um pouco mais corajosa, poderia ter feito do Xperia XZ Premium um excelente smartphone, eclipsando sua concorrência. Como é, o aparelho é simplesmente um dos muitos smartphones de gama alta que possui características técnicas convincentes. Não nos entenda mal, em muitos aspectos o Sony Xperia XZ Premium é um bom smartphone com uma fantástica tela HDR. Mas a sensação de que a Sony pode ter esquecido sobre o básico entre todo esse progresso tecnológico, permanece.
