Contra
O Sony Xperia XA2 é um smartphone de gama média muito sólido. No entanto, não traz um "recurso matador" real para diferenciá-lo da concorrência.
Com o Xperia XA2, a Sony possui um bom dispositivo de gama média em sua linha, o que facilita a vida cotidiana com o smartphone. O moderno dispositivo de 5,2 polegadas encaixa bem nas mãos, possui uma tela Full HD brilhante com ângulos de visão estáveis e, graças a reservas de desempenho decentes, também roda jogos graficamente exigentes, sem problemas. Pontos positivos adicionais são a câmera de 23 MP que tira boas fotos à luz do dia, a longa duração da bateria e os tempos de carregamento agradavelmente curtos graças ao Quick Charge 3.0. Com o Android 8.0 no momento de nossos testes, o Xperia XA2 também roda uma versão muito atual do sistema operacional da Google.
Embora o Xperia XA2 não comete verdadeiros erros, poderia ter sido melhor em algumas partes: A câmera de selfies produz apenas uma qualidade de imagem medíocre e os 32 GB de armazenamento nominal são reduzidos a 20 GB pelos muitos aplicativos pré-instalados que não podem ser desinstalados. Embora uma carcaça à prova d'água não seja mais uma raridade na gama média, a Sony a omitiu no Xperia XA2.
No momento do teste, o Xperia XA2 custa 300 euros (~$370, cerca de $ 350 nos EUA), o que é praticamente tanto quanto os smartphones similares e rápidos como o BQ Aquaris X Pro, o HTC U11 Life, ou o Motorola Moto X4.
