Em nosso teste, o Xperia XA2 Plus apresenta bom desempenho, embora o desempenho do sistema permaneça abaixo do dos dispositivos em um nível de preço similar. Embora o desempenho de armazenamento também seja um pouco baixo, é possível manter o nível de smartphones comparáveis. Além disso, há uma porta USB-2.0 lenta e o desempenho da câmera principal de 23 MP está abaixo da média, principalmente em condições de iluminação irregulares.
O Xperia XA2 Plus se recomenda para os compradores interessados em smartphones da Sony que preferem o pequeno design do formato 18: 9 e que não se importam muito com um sistema de câmera dupla.
No lado positivo, há uma excelente duração de bateria e uma tela agradável, rica em contraste. Os resultados nos benchmarks dificilmente representam algo significativo no uso diário, onde o smartphone da Sony apresenta uma interface de usuário fluida e os aplicativos rodam sem problemas. Jogos exigentes podem ser bem jogados com configurações médias, e o Bluetooth 5.0 está presente. Para muitos outros fabricantes, isso ainda não é o padrão. O Xperia XA2 Plus é, portanto, recomendado para todos aqueles que não precisam das câmeras duplas do XA2 Ultra e preferem o formato 18: 9 mais fino.
