A Sony fez um bom trabalho com o Xperia 1. Tem uma tela atraente, é bem construída e tem um desempenho decente. No entanto, o dispositivo levou quase cinco meses para chegar ao mercado tendo sido revelado na MWC19 em fevereiro, o que torna seu preço sugerido de 950 euros (US$1.071) desagradável quando outros carros-chefe já começaram baixar seus preço. Enquanto você pode encontrar o Xperia 1 online por cerca de 900 Euros (~US$ 1.015), o Galaxy S10+ e o OnePlus 7 Pro caíram ainda mais para cerca de 700 Euros (~US$ 790). Da mesma forma, o P30 Pro despencou para apenas 650 Euros (~US$ 729) por causa da guerra comercial do governo dos EUA com a Huawei.
O Sony Xperia 1 é um companheiro ideal para quem gosta de assistir filmes em movimento. Existem melhores opções lá fora, embora você não se encaixe neste nicho.
Deixando o preço de lado, o Xperia 1 faz muitos compromissos para ser considerado uma séria oposição aos melhores carros-chefes de 2019. Acima de tudo está a tela 21:9. Parece ótimo e é prático para multitarefas, mas dificilmente há conteúdo otimizado para isso, forçando você a assistir a vídeos cortados ou com zoom. Nem são ideais e destacam que 21:9 atualmente tem mais desvantagens do que benefícios.
O Xperia 1 também não possui ótimas câmeras. O sensor frontal de 8 MP é inferior, assim como a fotografia com pouca luz do sensor principal de 12 MP traseiro. A omissão do carregamento sem fio é uma queixa menor, mas é uma que nos lembra que o Xperia 1 não é tão rico em recursos quanto seus rivais. Inexplicavelmente, a Sony incluiu uma bateria de 3.330 mAh, que nunca iria durar muito tempo ao alimentar uma tela 4K de 6,5 polegadas e um SoC Snapdragon 855.
Em suma, o Xperia 1 é um excelente smartphone em isolamento. Ele ganha muito pontos com o seu design, tela e desempenho, mas fica aquém ao compará-lo com outros smartphones carros-chefe mais ricos em recursos e normalmente, mais econômicos, lançados este ano.
