O modelo Samsung Galaxy J1 do ano 2016 deixou uma impressão um pouco confusa. A Samsung melhorou o a aparelho de nível de entrada em alguns pontos. Isto evidentemente inclui a tela SAMOLED, que consegue convencer em todas as áreas exceto pela baixa resolução. A Samsung também mexeu no desempenho e nos recursos, porque desta vez recebemos um SoC quad-core, LTE, e inclusive NFC.

O Galaxy J1 ainda é um aparelho de nível de entrada, que está, entre outros, também confirmado pelo equipamento da câmera. A Samsung ainda usa os módulos do predecessor, provavelmente para manter sua distância com o Galaxy J3. Isto nos traz para o maior problema do Galaxy J1, o preço. O preço sugerido de 159 Euros (~$ 174) é muito alto, em nossa opinião. O atual preço de cerca de 130-140 Euros (~$142-~$153), mas o maior Galaxy J3 com uma tela maior, maior resolução, mais recursos, e melhores câmeras é apenas um par de Euros mais caro. 

A Samsung melhorou o Galaxy J1 (2016) em algumas áreas importantes, mas evidentemente ainda é um aparelho de nível de entrada. O maior problema é o Galaxy J3 da própria Samsung, que atualmente é mais caro e, portanto, oferece uma razão de preço-desempenho melhor.

Além das câmeras, você também deve se comprometer em termos de desempenho e equipamento de memória. O Galaxy J1 ainda não suporta WLAN 5 GHz. Os aspectos positivos obviamente são a longa duração da bateria e o chassi compacto e sólido. Você não pode errar com o modelo 2016 em geral, mas nós ainda esperaríamos para a compra até que o preço tenha baixado um pouco.
