Existe um conceito claro no Motorola One: Por um lado, a Motorola quer oferecer um dispositivo sem frescuras para todos aqueles para quem o design mais organicamente arredondado do fabricante é muito brincalhão. Por outro lado, o Android One deve garantir que as correções de segurança mais atuais sempre cheguem ao dispositivo rapidamente e que o sistema operacional permaneça atualizado pelo menos nos próximos anos. No entanto, particularmente em termos de software, existem duas ressalvas: Primeiro, a Motorola ainda está demorando muito até que as atualizações cheguem ao dispositivo (a atualização de setembro foi completamente omitida e a atualização de outubro chegou em novembro), e os usuários também precisam ter paciência até receber o patch do Android-9. Em segundo lugar, o Android 9 já é contado como uma das duas atualizações prometidas do Android One, de modo que apenas o Android 10 ainda é garantido aos usuários.
O que mais o Motorola One pode oferecer? Uma duração de bateria aceitável e uma câmera decente, uma carcaça robusta e um desempenho confiável mesmo sob cargas pesadas prolongadas.
O Motorola One é um smartphone que resulta muito sólido em muitas áreas. No entanto, neste ponto, há uma forte concorrência em sua faixa de preço.
Aqueles que podem pagar 50 Euros (~$56) a mais podem obter muito mais desempenho e uma duração de bateria significativamente maior com o Honor Play o Xiaomi Pocophone. Sob esta luz, a relação preço-desempenho do Motorola One parece duvidosa. No entanto, qualquer pessoa para quem as atualizações garantidas para os próximos dois anos são importantes e que não se importam com a frequência de atualização de dois meses terá um smartphone que é sólido.
