Contra
O Moto G5s é uma evolução bem sucedida do seu antecessor e mudou menos do que parece à primeira vista: mais memória, câmera melhorada, tela maior e um novo alto-falante. Além disso, os novos sensores da câmera funcionam de forma muito decente: as fotos tiradas com a câmera principal estão no lado frio, mas o sensor corrige bem as condições de iluminação adversas. A câmera frontal confirma essas descobertas.
O smartphone não apresenta falhas graves: a tela é mais escura do que a do antecessor e seu consumo de energia é um pouco alto demais. Além disso, o alto-falante respeitável deve ser ajustado com um equalizador para corrigir os altos enfatizados demais. O microfone também é bastante medíocre. Em troca, o software funciona sem problemas e vem sem bloatware. O dispositivo também permanece frio.
Mesmo com a bateria maior, a duração da bateria não melhorou e, considerando tudo, uma atualização desde o Moto G5 não vale a pena. Se você estiver, no entanto, decidindo entre optar pelo G5 e o G5s, depende da importância da bateria removível do G5 para você. Caso contrário, optar pelo G5 é certamente uma boa, pois vem com mais memória e uma câmera melhorada. O G5s Plus vem com uma câmera dupla que não constitui uma vantagem drástica, embora a CPU e GPU notavelmente mais rápidas possam justificar a diferença no preço.
O Motorola Moto G5s é um produto intermediário de sucesso que não oferece inovação revolucionária. Em vez disso, ele vem com melhorias de alguns detalhes, mas uma ou outra mudança para pior também: sua tela, por exemplo, é mais escura do que a do antecessor. Tudo considerado, o Moto G5s parece ser um negócio bem equilibrado que encontra seu lugar no gama média baixa.
No geral, o Moto G5s ganhou o seu lugar na família da série Moto G e pode manter o nível contra smartphones com preços similares de outros fabricantes.
