Apesar do fato de que a HTC não modificou muito o design, o U11 parece ser diferente do HTC 10 e outros concorrentes graças aos diferentes materiais e à extraordinária escolha de cores. Do ponto de vista técnico, o smartphone está em um nível muito alto, pois vem equipado com um processador de gama alta atualizado e uma quantidade de armazenamento apropriada para sua classe. O aumento no preço de rua recomendado de 50 Euros (~$58) é bastante elevado, mas segue a tendência anual.
Embora o som sempre tenha sido um dos destaques da HTC, com o U11 não acontece mais. É verdade, a HTC incluiu muita tecnologia de áudio, mas, francamente, não entendemos a mudança para uma interface de áudio baseada em USB. Uma pena, dado que os fones incluídos são de primeira qualidade. Os usuários que preferem conectar seu alto-falante via Bluetooth também podem ficar decepcionados, dado que o aptX não é suportado.
O HTC U11 impressiona com suas cores pouco comuns, uma ótima câmera e um excelente desempenho do sistema. No entanto, a duração da bateria deixa a desejar.
O HTC U11 tira fotos excelentes de alta qualidade e supera o líder da categoria Galaxy S8 quando se trata de desempenho em baixa iluminação. isso ainda não é suficiente para o primeiro lugar nesta categoria, dado que a câmera perde pontos quando se trata de ajustabilidade e opções de vídeo disponíveis.
O U11 é comparativamente grande, mas ainda inclui apenas uma bateria de 3000 mAh como sua fonte de energia. Uma bateria de maior capacidade poderia ter sido uma melhor escolha, em nossa opinião, especialmente porque as durações não são tão boas em comparação com a concorrência. Apesar de tudo, o HTC U11 é um excelente smartphone.
