A Gigaset foi inteligente em entrar ao mercado com smartphones de alta qualidade Por isso, o consumidor associa a marca com smartphones premium. O Gigaset GS160 nos traz de volta para a terra: O fabricante alemão não consegue fazer milagres com o orçamento limitado da categoria de nível de entrada. Consequentemente, está usando uma carcaça discreta e também poderia ser mais robusta. Qualidade das chamadas, alto falante, e desempenho: Embora estes sejam a média da categoria, nenhum destes pontos se destaca.
O leitor de digitais que a Gigaset instalou é uma exceção aqui. É bastante exclusivo para este setor e funciona com precisão. Muitas configurações são fornecidas para reproduzir imagens na tela, a qual também é muito brilhante. A duração da bateria é boa e o mesmo se aplica para o consumo de energia, particularmente durante cargas leves. A apertada configuração da memória de trabalho é bastante agravante dado que com frequência retarda o sistema e impede que um jogo sofisticado seja pausado no plano de fundo quando se abre outro aplicativo. O avanço do jogo poderia se perder e o aplicativo simplesmente é reiniciado.
O Gigaset GS160 não é perfeito, mas ele aproveita ao máximo o seu baixo orçamento. O sensor de digitais que é difícil de encontrar nesta categoria é um destaque.
Gostamos do fato que a Gigaset ofereça peças de reposição e acessórios, inclusive para um smartphone de tão baixo custo em sua loja online. Damos um ponto de bônus por isso e pelas diversas opções de personalização no software. O slot microSD dedicado, além dos slots dual-SIM também é um argumento para este ponto de bônus. A bateria removível agrada os usuários que viajam frequentemente. Embora a Gigaset não tenha montado um paco excelente, é um pacote completo que adiciona um ar de premium à classe de nível de entrada com seus pequenos extras.
