O Schenker XMG Ultra 15 herda os pontos fortes e fracos do seu irmão de 17 polegadas, o XMG Ultra 17. Em nossa opinião, a carcaça que facilita a manutenção merece muito crédito (tanto a CPU quanto a GPU podem, teoricamente, ser substituídas!). Ele pode ser amplamente personalizado na ferramenta de configuração online da Schenker. Os dispositivos de entrada, a qualidade de áudio e as portas (Thunderbolt 3) são compatíveis com o preço do XMG. 

No entanto, a tela com capacidade para G-Sync de 120 Hz, deixa uma impressão bastante mista. O bom brilho e os baixos tempos de resposta dificilmente eliminam a sensação de decepção deixada pela baixa precisão das cores, a medíocre uniformidade do brilho, os ângulos de visão pobres e o um pouco alto valor de preto.  

O maior ponto de crítica que temos diz respeito ao ruído do ventilador. Apesar da carcaça grossa, o dispositivo de 15 polegadas produz muito ruído durante as sessões de jogo. Também tende a produzir muito ruído desnecessário ao trabalhar em tarefas leves. Como o processador e a placa gráfica nunca atingem temperaturas críticas há espaço para uma solução de resfriamento mais silenciosa. Para esse fim, você pode sempre ajustar a velocidade do ventilador manualmente através do utilitário Control Center. A modesta duração da bateria é outra razão pela qual o XMG Ultra 15 não recebe um “A” de nós.

No entanto, quando você leva em consideração todos os aspectos, verá que o XMG Ultra 15 se destaca muito bem de concorrentes como o Acer Predator 15MSI GT62VR 7REe o Alienware 15 R3.
