Um objeto de prestígio impressionante ou apenas um desperdiço de dinheiro? Similar a um carro esportivo de luxo, as possíveis respostas a esta questão podem ser muito diferentes.
Sim, você pode argumentar que o XMG U727 é simplesmente caro demais e você estará melhor com um PC desktop e um portátil para jogos. No entanto, se você não quer um PC desktop e ainda deseja obter o máximo de desempenho de um portátil, pode valer a penas dar uma olhada no modelo de teste.
Além das portas, da tela 4K (88% AdobeRGB!), as opções de atualização e o desempenho são ótimos. USB 3.1 Type-C com Thunderbolt 3, placa de vídeo MXM e CPU de socket: A Schenker Technologies definitivamente pensou no futuro e com isso marca uma tendência em contra a tendência de jogar fora os dispositivos (palavra-chave: componentes soldados).
No entanto, os compradores potenciais devem estar cientes de que este é um sistema estacionário com durações muitos breves da bateria. Incluindo os dois adaptadores de força, o P870DM3-G barebone pesa 8 quilogramas (~17.6 lb). Não queríamos carregá-lo mais depois de que tiramos as fotos em exteriores.
Se você avalia a qualidade do chassi, não há muito para criticar. Tanto a qualidade de construção quanto os dispositivos de entrada são bastante bons. Você também recebe bons alto falantes e configurações personalizáveis. O software do substituto de desktop também é adequado. Controles manuais da ventoinha e do desempenho não são um problema graças ao Centro de Controle.
Em resumo: O XMG U727 é uma opção para gamers bem abastados que desejam o máximo desempenho e gostam de experimentar com novas tecnologias, e que odeiam PCs desktop. Recomendamos um portátil convencional com single GPU para todos os outros usuários.
