Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

No final do dia, o SKU Blade 15 GTX 1060 Max-Q é cerca de 30 por cento mais lento em poder GPU do que o SKU Blade 15 1070 Max-Q. O resultado é uma configuração que, na verdade, funciona durante mais tempo, de forma mais fria e mais silenciosa por margens notáveis. É por isso discutível que a SKU GTX 1060 Max-Q oferece uma experiência mais equilibrada para os jogadores tradicionais e para os estudantes em movimento, enquanto a poderosa SKU GTX 1070 Max-Q pode ser vista como a opção entusiasta de "desempenho a todo o custo".

O elefante na sala é o preço pedido do SKU Blade 15 GTX 1060 Max-Q. Os usuários estão pagando pelo design, marca, estética e recursos do chassi. Por causa disso, até mesmo os menores detalhes podem ser decepcionantes. Nossa unidade em particular sofre tanto do moderado bleeding da luz de fundo quanto do ruído eletrônico que achamos que não deveria ter lugar em um portátil nessa faixa de preço. O uso de PWM para sua luz de fundo RGB por tecla e o limitado Turbo Boost da CPU são outros pequenos reveses que os entusiastas podem lamentar. Além disso, é difícil não ficar impressionado com a rigidez do chassi minimalista, especialmente quando comparado ao MSI GS65 ou a série Aorus X5.
