A última revisão da Blade 15 traz apenas pequenas atualizações de um ano para o outro. Os usuários podem esperar pequenas mudanças no teclado, pequenas mudanças nas portas, algumas diferenças no armazenamento, e algumas novas opções configuráveis aqui e ali. Fora isso, o desempenho geral dos jogos permanece praticamente o mesmo da série Blade 15 de 2019.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Antigamente, a Intel tinha um ciclo de processador "tick-tock" onde o "tick" representava um grande redesenho arquitetônico com atualizações significativas de desempenho, enquanto o produto "tock" seria uma versão mais afinada do produto "tick". A analogia se aplica aqui no Razer Blade 15 2020 dado que o novo Core i7-10750H e a GPU GeForce RTX Super Max-Q são atualizações relativamente pequenas para o Core i7-9750H e GeForce RTX Max-Q da 9a geração, respectivamente. O chassi tem alguns ajustes aqui e ali, mas ainda é o mesmo chassi que todos nós conhecemos. Qualquer vantagem em relação aos modelos do ano passado estaria nas porcentagens de um dígito, em média.

Se você está no mercado por um Blade 15, valeria a pena considerar um modelo de 2019, especialmente agora que eles são mais baratos. Você realmente não estaria perdendo nada que valesse a pena, saltando a série 2020 do modelo base. Esperamos que os modelos do próximo ano tragam atualizações mais tangíveis como ventiladores mais silenciosos e GPUs Ampere.

Um refinamento da já excelente série 2019. Há algumas opções novas que são lançadas, mas em sua maioria são menores e nada sobre as quais escrever.
