Contra
O Defiance IV parece ótimo. Sua carcaça é bem construída e discreta e possui superfícies metálicas de boa aparência que, apesar de atrair sujeira rapidamente, dão uma impressão sólida e de alta qualidade.
Como deveria ser para um portátil de jogos moderno, o dispositivo também possui um teclado retro iluminado. Se você esquecer da porta Thunderbolt 3 ausente, sua conectividade também é impressionante.
Há dois lados da tela de 120-Hz. Embora o grande espaço de cores e os tempos de resposta baixos sejam excelentes, eles não podem equilibrar completamente os ângulos de visão medíocres e o forte desvio de cores (de fábrica). O valor de preto, o brilho e sua distribuição, por outro lado, não deixam nada para criticar.
A velocidade da CPU é um pouco mais problemática. O fato de o processador se afogar abaixo de sua velocidade básica durante algumas aplicações 3D exigentes não é ideal para um portátil de jogos, mesmo que a queda na velocidade nem sempre seja perceptível no desempenho do dispositivo. Talvez o fabricante nos dê uma atualização do BIOS que resolva o problema. Se o Core i7-7700HQ conseguisse alcançar seu potencial pleno, os portáteis concorrentes de 17 polegadas (Acer V17 Nitro, MSI GS73VR 7RG, etc.) teriam que estar temerosos.
Além do bom tempo de duração da bateria, que é habilitado pelo recurso de comutação de gráficos Optimus da Nvidia, também queremos mencionar as emissões de primeira classe durante o modo inativo, a carcaça amigável com a manutenção e as opções de configuração individuais. No entanto, preferiríamos menos ruído do sistema e temperaturas mais baixas sob carga.
