O GS66 representa um progresso claro em comparação com o GS65.

A MSI cuidou das reclamações mais importantes e forneceu mais opções de estabilidade e manutenção à carcaça compacta. Também merece elogios pelo equipamento de conexão atualizado (Thunderbolt 3), o painel de 300 Hz rápido e rico em contraste, bem como a enorme bateria, mesmo que não seja capaz de aproveitar seu potencial.

Achamos um pouco difícil de entender a escolha do processador. Enquanto o Core i9-10980HK é obviamente muito atraente do ponto de vista de marketing e em termos de ganhos, se o cliente tiver que lidar mais com as desvantagens (temperatura e desenvolvimento de ruídos muito altos) do que com as vantagens (maior potencial de desempenho) e o portátil geralmente é projetado para mobilidade, não ofereceríamos essa opção em primeiro lugar.
