O Legion Y730 está em uma posição precária. É a versão mais fina, mais leve e mais avançada do Legion Y530 com mais sinos e assobios como luzes LED, superfícies de alumínio e Thunderbolt 3, mas não tem a opção de GPU GeForce GTX 1060 encontrada em sua alternativa de orçamento. Por que o Legion Y730 está preso com a GTX 1050 Ti a GPU, está além do nosso raciocínio, especialmente porque o portátil roda relativamente bem quando joga, com excelente desempenho do Turbo Boost da CPU. O chassi é claramente capaz de lidar com GPUs mais rápidas e nós suspeitamos que uma atualização virá em breve com a próxima geração de gráficos da Nvidia.
Os maiores pontos de venda do Y730 são as luzes RGB por tecla e a porta Thunderbolt 3 por um preço baixo de $1.000 USD. Na verdade, a maioria dos concorrentes de jogos de nível de entrada como o MSI GF63, Gigabyte Sabre 15, ou Asus TUF FX504 não possui um ou ambos desses recursos.
