O ProBook 470 G5 é a 6ª geração do portátil empresarial da HP de 17,3 polegadas (o patriarca era conhecido como o ProBook 470 G0). Como esperado, algumas das modificações que a Hewlett Packard realizou - como a omissão da unidade ótica ou os botões dedicados removidos para ativar/desabilitar os módulos de comunicação sem fio ou os alto-falantes - vão fazer com que algumas pessoas estejam muito chateadas.
O ProBook 470 G5 é um dispositivo de trabalho bem completo de 17,3 polegadas com espaço para melhorias.
O portátil foi projetado para negócios, bem como o uso pessoal. Graças ao processador ULV quad-core, o amplíssimo desempenho está sempre disponível e o dispositivo permite até mesmo jogos modestos graças à sua placa gráfica dedicada GeForce 930MX. No entanto, teríamos desejado uma GPU mais rápida. Pelo menos, o ProBook ficou muito frio e silencioso, independentemente da carga.
O desempenho do sistema foi adequado devido ao seu rápido SSD NVMe, e substituir o SSD por um modelo mais espaçoso é uma brisa graças às duas aberturas de manutenção dedicadas na parte inferior. A tela IPS FHD oferece ótimos ângulos de visão e um brilho muito alto, embora o contraste esteja no lado baixo.
A duração da bateria foi excelente, e o ProBook 470 G5 certamente pode ser considerado muito portátil a este respeito. Assim como seus antecessores, a última versão do ProBook possui um ótimo teclado com uma luz de fundo em dois estágios. A garantia está limitada a um ano por defeito em vez da garantia de 2 anos que esperávamos de um dispositivo premium como este. Nós gostaríamos também de ver um Thunderbolt 3 em vez da porta USB 3.1 Gen 1. Teria sido ainda mais versátil e muito mais adequado para um portátil empresarial moderno.
