As altas temperaturas do HP Envy 17-n107ng afetaram um pouco a avaliação geral, e isto é justificado para temperaturas de até 82 °C (107,6 °F). Aquelas temperaturas são concentradas em alguns pontos no chassi e são alcançadas somente depois de longos períodos de uso intenso. Não é um problema crítico para o autor, que evitariam uma compra do portátil multimídia, em geral, convincente. Achamos que a má capacidade de manutenção é, de fato, um problema maior.
A CPU, a memória e o SSD, sem dúvida, garantem uma experiência de usuário muito fluente. A placa de vídeo convencional também é suficientemente poderosa para jogos 3D modernos quando pode viver com alguns compromissos.
Além do ótimo chassi de alumínio com o layout ergonômico das portas, gostamos particularmente do ótimo som para um portátil e também a tela, apesar de algumas falhas. Os dispositivos de entrada estão longe da qualidade da série Lenovo ThinkPad, por exemplo, mas, de fato, funciona muito bem e deve satisfazer a maioria dos usuários. Por um preço de até 1.300 Euros (~$1410), que deve ser o caso em breve, podemos recomendar o aparelho. As versões mais econômicas da série Envy 17 da HP poderia inclusive ser uma barganha, porque a tela, chassi e dispositivos de entrada da versão de gama baixa de 850 Euros (~$922) não se diferencia da configuração de da análise.
