Para a maioria dos usuários, a parte mais importante da atualização Kaby Lake XPS 13 9360 é o fato de que o Skylake XPS 13 9350 agora será mais econômico. A diferença de desempenho entre estes portáteis quase iguais é tão mínima que os compradores que pretendem utilizar o portátil para trabalhos de aula, navegar, ou multimídia, encontrarão muito poucos benefícios tangíveis da Kaby Lake. De fato, certos SKUs XPS 13 9350 com Iris Graphics podem superar os mais recentes SKUs Kaby Lake se usuários demanda mais poder gráfico.
O XPS 13 ainda é um dos melhores Ultrabooks tradicionais de 13-polegadas, disponível se as dobradiças de 360 graus ou telas desmontáveis não forem importantes. Seu pequeno tamanho e design de qualidade não pode ser subestimado e seus marcos muito estreitos já estão sendo incorporados em portáteis concorrentes, incluindo o futuro Yoga 910. Não muito mudou para o XPS 13, mas a série permanecerá muito competitiva.
Os compradores dispostos a pagar um pouco mais pelo XPS 13 Kaby Lake, encontrarão um desempenho um pouco mais veloz e duração da bateria. De outra forma, o vindouro Skylake XPS 13 fornecerá uma experiência quase igual por menos.
