Contra
O Dell G7 17 7790 possui muitos dos mesmos pros e contras que o Alienware m15 e m17. O desempenho é excelente, especialmente quando se trata de manter níveis confiáveis do Turbo Boost por longos períodos, mas isso vem com o preço de um processador mais quente. O peso pesado e os ventiladores barulhentos se comparam desfavoravelmente ao mais leve e geralmente mais silencioso Lenovo Legion Y740 que vem equipado com as mesmas opções de CPU e GPU que o nosso Dell. Portáteis de jogos pesados são compreensíveis, mas devem ser mais silenciosos para compensar o peso, e o G7 17 infelizmente tem o pior dos
dois mundos.
Apesar do mencionado acima, há mais a gostar do que não gostar do sistema. O painel padrão de 144 Hz, facilidade de manutenção, base de som e várias opções de portas, deixam uma boa impressão, mesmo que o chassi não pareça tão elegante como muitos de seus concorrentes. Se você planeja levar o seu portátil de jogos de 17,3 polegadas em viagens com frequência, então o mais leve MSI GS75 ou Acer Predator Helios podem ser opções mais sábias.
Embora a lista de desvantagens seja curta, elas se destacam como um polegar dolorido. O forte desempenho envolve tanto os ventiladores barulhentos quanto um chassi pesado que se adapta melhor aos jogadores domésticos do que os jogadores que estão constantemente em movimento.
