Contra
Externamente, o Alienware m15 R3 parece nada mais do que uma pequena atualização em relação ao m15 R2 do ano passado. Em vez disso, as principais mudanças são internas, o que é uma pena, porque elas provavelmente passarão despercebidas para a maioria dos usuários. A Dell abordou diretamente um dos maiores problemas do m15 R2 com o m15 R3, migrando para uma solução de resfriamento muito mais potente e reduzindo as temperaturas do núcleo em cerca de 20 °C durante os jogos. Combine isso com as novas opções de CPU e GPU e você terá um sistema que pode funcionar tanto mais rápido quanto mais frio que seu antecessor imediato, apesar de parecer quase o mesmo no exterior. Em resumo, o Alienware m15 R3 é o que o m15 R2 deveria ter sido.
Com um dos maiores problemas do modelo do ano passado agora resolvido, é hora de melhorar os outros aspectos do sistema. O ruído do ventilador em particular não mudou, o que significa que você ainda vai querer um bom par de fones de ouvido ao jogar. O chassi fino e leve não é tão fino ou leve quanto os outros da mesma categoria e a inclusão de uma câmara de vapor tornou o sistema um pouco mais pesado do que antes. O consumo de energia muito alto e a curta duração da bateria tornam o sistema uma solução ruim para os viajantes, quando comparado ao MSI GS66 ou Razer Blade 15 que oferecem quase as mesmas opções de CPU e GPU que o nossa Dell.
No geral, o Alienware m15 R3 é uma melhoria notável em relação ao m15 R2, especialmente em termos de temperatura do núcleo. As novas opções de processador também são bem-vindas, mas quase todo o resto permanece o mesmo que o modelo m15 R2 do ano passado, também para muitas das mesmas desvantagens.
