Quando um portátil concorrente abaixo de US$ 1.000 pode oferecer o mesmo desempenho de jogo que seu portátil de US$ 2000, é melhor oferecer recursos extras suficientes para garantir o preço mais alto. No caso da Asus, o GU502GU é um pacote misto. O dispositivo é maior, mais grosso, mais barulhento e mais flexível, com menor duração da bateria e menos opções de portas do que o Razer Blade 15 que é vendido pelo mesmo preço que o GU502GU. Portanto, se você está procurando algo mais resistente e luxuoso do que um portátil de jogos econômico como o GF65, seria difícil recomendar o Asus, pois ele não consegue enfrentar o Razer.
Existem algumas vantagens menores no Asus que vale a pena mencionar.
