Contra
O GL702VSK é um portátil de compromissos. O aparelho tenta ter tudo, colocando muitos componentes poderosos em um chassi portável. Enquanto o portátil certamente é mais portável que outros monstros de jogos der 17,3 polegadas no mercado, o desempenho e a gestão térmica sofrem por causa disso. Isso é uma pena; de outra forma o aparelho é fantástico. O teclado é bom e agradável para a digitação, a seleção de portas é ótima e o aparelho é comparativamente fino e leve. A inclusão da Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 e de uma tela de 120 Hz G-Sync fornecem uma jogabilidade fantasticamente fluente e visuais absolutamente incríveis. O preço relativamente baixo do nosso SKU (~$1700 USD) fazem com que o aparelho seja muito mais atraente. Raramente você pode conseguir todo esse poder por tão pouco dinheiro.
O calor fere o GL702VSK. Devido à falta de um design térmico e gestão de calor, a CPU e GPU rapidamente engasgam e a falta de espaço que elas precisam para respirar. Gostaríamos de ver um sistema térmico mais robusto, mas isto aumentaria o tamanho e peso do aparelho.
O sentido do GL702VSK é ser uma máquina potente que os gamers possam levar para viagens sem quebrar suas costas. Nesse sentido, o portátil certamente é bem sucedido. Embora possa não atingir os mesmo níveis de poder bruto que seus rivais podem desfrutar, a concorrência também é mais grossa, pesada e muito menos portável. Existem outras opções para portáteis de jogos compactos, mas isso poderia significar um downgrade no tamanho da tela e, por isso, uma experiência inferior.
Apesar dos problemas com a gestão da temperatura, achamos que a Asus acertou em cheio com o GL702VSK. O aparelho oferece uma excelente experiência de jogos com resoluções Full HD sem tirar a totalidade de seu backup; por isso, recomendamos o Asus GL702VSK para gamers à procura de uma máquina de jogos poderosa, porém, portável.
