A atualização deste ano se trata principalmente sobre o desempenho. Finalmente, há uma opção para 32 GB de RAM e as atuais CPUs hexa-core da Intel (Coffee Lake) também estão disponíveis na máquina multimídia de 15 polegadas da Apple. O novo modelo é mais rápido que o predecessor, mas você não pode usar o potencial da CPU, especialmente sob cargas de trabalho contínuas. Nossos testes mostram que a solução de resfriamento não é potente o suficiente ou a Apple não quer acelerar os ventiladores em favor do ruído do sistema, respectivamente, mas vamos verificar isso.

Tudo isso não é realmente interessante para usuários comuns que simplesmente não precisam de um desempenho estável da CPU, mas eles devem usar o processador básico de qualquer maneira. A Apple - pelo menos em teoria - também poderia ter vendido um modelo menos caro com uma CPU quad-core atual. Os usuários avançados, no entanto, que podem até pensar no processador Core i9 opcional, ficarão decepcionados com nossos resultados iniciais, especialmente em comparação com o desempenho superior dos concorrentes (como o Dell XPS 15 9570).
