O X3 Plus v7 é um aparelho ambicioso. Ele continua com o objetivo da Aorus de colocar hardware poderoso em uma carcaça compacta. Infelizmente, o X3 tenta ter seu bolo e comê-lo também, e o resultado final é um portátil com compromissos. Embora existam alguns destaques definitivos, houve recortes para atingir esse nível de desempenho, e a Aorus pode ter cortado as bordas erradas.
O design do X3 é excelente. O acabamento atraente combinado com os acentos sutis cria um chassi muito bonito, e o uso de metal ao redor do corpo faz com que o dispositivo se sinta caro. A tela QHD+ também é impressionante. As imagens e o texto são muito nítidos, as cores são vibrantes e precisas, e a tela permanece clara e legível mesmo sob a luz solar direta. Também ficamos impressionados pelo desempenho nos jogos. É incrível que os usuários agora possam obter o nível de desempenho de desktop (ou melhor!) em um portátil tão compacto. Além disso, a opção de overclockar a CPU e a GPU são adições agradáveis; mais flexibilidade aumenta o valor.
Infelizmente, este desempenho vem com um custo. O chassi é muito pequeno para gerenciar proficientemente o calor gerado pelos poderosos componentes internos, o que força as ventoinhas a acelerar com frequência e agressividade enquanto tentam despejar calor suficiente para manter as coisas em andamento. O resultado final é um portátil barulhento que esquenta e pode se afogar termicamente sob uso intenso. Além disso, o imenso consumo de energia que suga mais do que o PSU pode fornecer é motivo de preocupação. Novamente, os usuários devem ter cuidado ao empurrar o portátil até seus limites.
No geral, nós gostamos do Aorus X3 Plus v7. É um excelente aparelho, mas comparado com a dura concorrência como o Gigabyte Aero 14 e Alienware 13, o X3 fica curto em outras áreas. O teclado médio, o touchpad frustrante e os problemas de calor e ruído mantêm o X3 embaixo do escalão superior de portáteis de jogos finos e leves.
Embora o Aorus X3 Plus v7 ofereça desempenho impressionante em um pequeno pacote, há muitos compromissos para que nós recomendarmos o aparelho. Existem opções mais equilibradas para os gamers em busca de um aparelho portátil.
