Com o TravelMate P648-M, a Acer oferece um portátil empresarial bem feito de 14-polegadas. O processador integrado oferece suficiente desempenho para todos os cenários de aplicação habituais. O computador sempre funciona de forma silenciosa e dificilmente esquenta. O veloz SSD garante um sistema veloz. É possível substituir o SSD. Isto requer a remoção do painel inferior do computador, o qual é fácil. Graças a um modem LTE, você pode se conectar à Internet via redes de telefonia celular. Você pode adicionar interfaces ao computador conectando uma estação docking Acer na porta docking no lado inferior do computador. O portátil fornece bons dispositivos de entrada e excelentes durações da bateria. A tela IPS do TravelMate possui ângulos de visão amplos e um contraste alto. No entanto, seu brilho é baixo demais. Esperamos mais de um computador nesta faixa de preços.
A Acer primeiramente atualizou o computador: Processador Skylake, RAM DDR4, e uma porta Thunderbolt-3. Estas mudanças razoáveis fizeram com que este portátil seja ainda melhor.
