Embora nossa lista de contras seja maior do que o esperado quando começamos a analisar este portátil, o veredicto geral permanece inalterado. O novo Aspire 7 A717-71G-72VY pode ser visto como um portátil multimídia com grandes ambições de jogos ou como um portátil de jogos com recursos multimídia viáveis. De qualquer forma: pelo seu preço atual de 1400 Euros (~$1651, um modelo melhor equipado com SSD+HDD é vendido por $1400 nos EUA) você recebe a essência de um portátil de jogos de $2000 sem os detalhes extras como G-Sync, teclas macro programáveis, um teclado com iluminação de fundo RGB de vários setores, ferramentas para monitoramento, afinação e overclocking, e uma seleção melhorada de portas.
A única gafe real é a ausência de armazenamento SSD em nossa unidade de análise. O desempenho, no entanto, é impecável, e o armazenamento SSD pode ser adaptado. A solução de resfriamento muito silenciosa e eficiente do portátil foi particularmente impressionante.
