Se você é um proprietário contente de um Surface Pro 5 ou Surface Pro 6, então não há muitos motivos para atualizar para o Surface Pro 7. É difícil recomendar a iteração mais recente da Microsoft quando ela oferece exatamente a mesma tela do Surface Pro 5 de dois anos e aproximadamente o mesmo desempenho da CPU do Surface Pro 6 Core i7. Tudo se resume a quanto você valoriza a porta USB Type-C integrada e o desempenho gráfico integrado mais rápido da Iris Plus G4 ou G7. Esse último, em particular, certamente pode ajudar em tarefas leves de edição de fotos e processamento de imagens, mas se sua intenção é usar o tablet principalmente para processamento de texto, email, navegação ou transmissão de vídeo, os SKUs Surface Pro 6 Core i5 ou Core i7 podem oferecem essencialmente a mesma experiência por menos.
A série numerada Surface Pro parece estagnada desde o Surface Pro 5 de 2017. Embora esses SKUs ainda sejam alguns dos melhores tablets Windows do mercado, estamos cruzando os dedos do que o 2020 Surface Pro será mais uma evolução para a série do que mais uma iteração marginal.
O Surface Pro 7 parece mais um SKU Surface Pro 6 do que um sucessor numerado. Suas atualizações são pequenas e quase imperceptíveis para a maioria dos usuários interessados apenas em tarefas básicas de escritório, como processamento de texto, navegação e transmissão de vídeo.
