O Lenovo Legion 5 com sua combinação de um processador Core-i5-10300H com um chip gráfico GeForce-RTX-2060 roda todos os jogos de computador atuais sem problemas em sua tela de 120 Hz. A maioria dos jogos pode ser reproduzida em resolução Full HD e nas configurações de alta a máxima qualidade. A CPU e a GPU também conseguem manter suas altas velocidades por um longo tempo.
O Legion 5 permite que os usuários ativem e desativem a GPU integrada.
A UHD Graphics 630 integrada pode ser ativada e desativada com o clique de um botão. A duração da bateria é muito boa quando a iGPU está ativada, mas não dura tanto tempo se a exigente GeForce RTX 2060 estiver em funcionamento.
Se o armazenamento no SSD de 512 GB acabar, os usuários poderão expandir o dispositivo com uma unidade de 2,5 polegadas ou um segundo SSD NVMe (M.2 2280). A inserção do dispositivo de armazenamento requer a abertura do dispositivo, que não possui uma escotilha de manutenção.
