O SKU Core i7 é melhor para manter as velocidades Turbo Boost mais rápidas por mais tempo, sem necessariamente afetar a duração da bateria para tarefas do dia-a-dia, como navegação, streaming ou processamento de texto. Os usuários que sabem que podem aproveitar a potência adicional serão os que mais se beneficiarão da configuração mais cara.
Para todos os demais, o delta de desempenho entre os SKUs Core i5 e Core i7 é imperceptível. O Core i5-8250U é mais que suficiente para navegação, streaming e cargas multitarefa. Em vez disso, o aspecto mais fraco do Yoga C930 são seus gráficos, já que a série continua sem opções dedicadas da Nvidia ou até da Iris.
