Um conversível de 15 polegadas é difícil de vender, simplesmente porque o grande tamanho da tela torna o modo tablet mais desconfortável em comparação com as opções menores. O HP Spectre x360 15 pode ser um pouco maior que o concorrente XPS 9575, mas seu design e qualidade se sentem incomparáveis em sua categoria.
Aprofunde-se no desempenho do Kaby Lake-G Spectre e o sistema começa a decepcionar quando comparado à configuração Kaby Lake-R. No papel, o Core i7-8705G e o Radeon RX Vega M GL devem ser significativamente mais rápidos que o i7-8550U e GeForce MX150. Na prática, no entanto, o SKU Kaby Lake-G sofre de problemas consideráveis de afogamento que, em última análise, mitigam grande parte das vantagens do desempenho que o chipset traz para a mesa. Os proprietários que pretendem usar o portátil principalmente para o processamento de texto, streaming ou navegação não perceberão o afogamento, mas o uso intenso contínuo e exigente como o de jogos, colocará o sistema de joelhos.
